Bucky's Point of View

I yawned as I woke up, (Y/N) was crying in his room. I sighed, the dude has issues, but I have more than he can even count. I peeped in the door and knocked. He quickly got up and wrapped a robe around himself and wiped his puffy eyes as he opened the door.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"Nothing." He said, "There was something in my eye and it was really stinging and I didn't wanna worry you guys." He lied looking me straight in the eye.

I sighed softly and sat down wrapping my arm around my kooky new friend, "What's wrong? Please tell me.."

"It's just that..I was trying to save this girl and her father, I was able to save the girl but her father..he died before both of us, I tried to cover the girls eyes but she pushed me off and put herself back into danger, I took the bullet for her...that was 5 years ago, I'll never forget it, every time I close my eyes I see it replay over and over and over..." (Y/N) said.

I felt bad for him, "But you saved the girl."

"But I couldn't save both of them! That's the thing. This is why I'm always pushing myself to do better, I know I can do better, I have to do better. Until everyone is safe.." (Y/N) was now in a fetal position.

"Not everyone gets a happy ending you know.." I said looking at him.

He looked at me with glossy eyes, "Yes I know. It's just bothering me. Every time i get called a failure that's just the first thing that pops up. Over and over and over."

"Who's calling you a failure?" I asked.

He looked himself in the mirror and pointed at himself.
