I yawned as I woke up. I opened my eyes and blinked a couple of times. I groaned as I realized it was time to wake up and get my day started. I looked around my room before I decided to get up and get started with my day. I looked over at my phone and took it off of it's wireless charger and smiled when I saw the text from Loki. I looked up at the lights that hung on my head board then got out of bed, slid on my slippers and walked over to my personal bathroom.

Yes. I'm 24 and I still live at my dad's house. I work with my dad and he doesn't trust me outside of the house. He's made it clear on multiple occasions.

He has perfect reason not to. I'm very destructive and I date horrible people. In fact I'm dating Loki Laufeyson. Yes, that Loki Laufeyson.

I brushed my teeth, took one of the world's hottest showers, brushed my hair and dried my body off. I whined softly as I felt the cold air from my room collide with the steam of my warm bathroom. I took the towel off and searched through my dresser for cute clothes to wear.

Nothing matched. Nothing ever did match. I shrugged and walked off to my closet to see if I had any matched outfits already ready for me to wear.

I smiled softly when I saw my favorite shirt. It was white with a vertical rose gold strip in the center of it. I picked it up and grabbed my black jeans to wear. I got my converse and went to go pick out earrings and a necklace along with rings and a bracelet to match after I got dressed.

I put my hair in a ponytail and started to apply mascara and eyeliner along with lipstick. I walked out of my room and grabbed my keys, "Bye dad." I said walking out.

He looked at me and rose a brow, "Where are you going?" He asked.

My father did not know that I was seeing Loki. I kept the past 3 relationships a secret. I bit my lip and look around the room. "I need more soap, bye." I smiled.

He rolled his eyes, too lazy to fight me on this. He looked back at the tv and continued to watch.

My Golden Retriever puppy, Jake, ran after me. "Good morning." I smiled softly, I smelt the food off of his breath, Dad was always the first one to wake up so he fed Jake most of the time.

"He just ate, don't feed him again." Tony said. Sometimes Jake would whine for more food even after he ate. We fed him enough, he just really liked food.

"I can smell his breath. I know." I laughed softly snd played with the dog, now sitting on the floor. I forgot about my boyfriend temporarily since I was in a beautiful dimension where it was just Jake and myself.

I got yanked violently out of this world when my phone started to vibrate. It was Loki texting me.

He kept the relationship secret as well, he didn't want to hear any shit from Thor about how me dating him is irresponsible and how Tony would get upset and all that shit.

"Bye, baby. I gotta go." I smiled at the dog.

Jake whimpered and tried to follow me out the house. I smiled softly and tried to nudge him back inside. I was thinking about throwing one of his toys to Tony so he could run back into the house, but that has to be some time of animal cruelty when he comes back with the toy and realizes I left. I picked him up and put him by Tony.

Tony occupied him for a while so I could leave the house in peace. I walked out and went to my white Audi and got in the driver's seat. I drove off and went to a café on the other side of town.

I found a parking spot and parked my car. I turned off the car and grabbed my purse which was sitting on the passenger seat. I grabbed my iPhone out and texted Loki that I have arrived.

He texted back a minute later.

Loki: I got your favorite drink.

Me: Wow, you're nice today.
Me: What did you do?

Loki: I can't order my girl a drink?

Me: I'm not complaining🤣

I put my phone back in my purse and got out of the car. I went inside the café and smiled softly when I saw him sitting there at my favorite table with my favorite drink.

I liked to see my favorite things. I smiled and sat across from him. "Why are you being so nice today?" I chuckled softly.

"Wow. A Hello would be nice." He slid the drink over to me.

"Hello, Mr. Laufeyson." I rolled my eyes playfully and took a sip from the drink.

He chuckled softly and looked at me, "Have you told your dad yet?" He asked.

"Not really." I mumbled, he looked over at me.

"So what do you plan to do? Let him know or-" I cut him off.

"Keep it secret." I blurted, not even thinking.

Loki nodded and looked down, "I don't like the whole secret thing. We've been dating forever." He said dramatically.

"Not forever." I giggled softly when I saw him smile, "You're cute." I whispered.

He looked a bit awkward when I complimented him, "Indeed." He didn't know how to take compliments and it was quite obvious.

"Shall we go?" He asked.

"Yeah." I nodded, "How long have you been waiting for me?" I asked him.

"Forever."

A/N: This was supposed to be called Tension. It was going to be when Loki was introduced and the reader is Stark's kid and the reader and Loki have tension and everyone can tell.
