Y/N's PoV

Since Nat was gone for maternity leave, I was the only female on the team. Steve found out she can have babies, well only when she got pregnant, so that leaves me with the most power. I smirked knowing that I had Tony, Clint, Bruce, and Thor in the palm of my hands, occasionally I had Bucky as well.

Today we had a mission, apparently HYDRA has started a new experiment on mutants and it turned out the opposite way they wanted it to go. The mutants turned evil and they were attacking the city instead of us.

It was about 15 minutes and Fury still didn't show up for the meeting. I was so bored, there was nothing to do, Loki was locked away, Thor was running late as well. Tony was drunk off his ass and Bruce was conducting a new experiment.

When Fury finally got inside of the conference room Tony stood up and burped in the older man's face. Fury growled and wiped his face with a napkin and stood up by the projector sheet.

He started rambling on about that mission. I was one of the more alerted out of all of the 4 men, I was ready for this mission and Fury knew I was, he partnered me up with Clint. He knew I could take them out all by myself but he wanted Clint there for back up.

"If I wanted backup I would've chosen Thor."I rolled my eyes playfully. Clint glared at me and left to polish his arrow, I followed after him,"Hey I was just joking." I touched his shoulder and he tensed up.

"Just watch your back." He grumbled as he left.

"As long as I get to watch yours!~" I laughed not taking the older man serious.

"You can't do this mission by yourself, You don't even take me or Fury seriously!"He turned around and looked over at me. I looked up at him, I started laughing,"Called sarcasm and/or misunderstanding." He looked at me,"I don't even see why you're on the team, ever since Nat is gone you think you're the best thing ever, your ego is so high you can't even come down anymore." He glared

I looked at him,"I can't help it if you're butt-hurt."

It's been a few days since we've started the mission and it's not going well, Clint and I aren't exactly on speaking terms. I don't think that this is good for the mission, I know for a fact that this is not good for the mission. How am I going to do this without him? I'm just going to tell Fury-Nah! I'm not going to tell Fury anything..

I looked at Clint, he looked the other way. "Hey! Were you staring at me?" I smiled like a goof-ball.

Clint growled, "(Y/N)..stay quiet..we're so close."

"Oh so now you talk to me-!!" I was taken by one of the mutants.

----Meanwhile at the HYDRA Building----

(3rd Person)

A woman was looking at the screens and walked around the surveillance room, "Boss! We caught one!"

"An Avenger of Civilian?" He asked while jogging into the room.

"An Avenger!" She smirked and looked at the mutant as it held (Y/N) in it's large hand walked around New York while using it's free hand to cause destruction.

"That girl with the curly hair?"The man asked, he smirked and rubbed his hands, "Perfect! Now we have to catch the mutant and the girl, bring them both back here and experiment."

The girl hesitated, "Boss...that looks like (Y/N)..I don't think taking he will be a good idea. You know she always has a partner who can kick both of our asses at the same time."

"Well maybe if you train you can learn how to kick one of their asses one day." The man scoffed walking away, the girl shot by his shoulder as in a warning shot.

He chuckled and pulled out a gun, another man walked in with a group of men behind him, weapons drawn aiming towards the woman. Her eyes turned orange, an orange fuse came from behind her, a sudden blast and they were all out.

When she walked out of the room, their leader slowly sat up and called into a comm, "One of the mutants are now leaving the surveillance room...I repeat leaving the surveillance room.." he groaned and fell out.

(2nd person point of view)

You screamed loudly as Clint shot the mutant in the eye, "Clint! It's not working stop!"

"It'll work." He said.

"Bring in Tony! Or Thor! Someone who's useful." You screamed not truly thinking.

Clint was in his feelings and left you behind, he ignored Tony screaming in the comm,he went back to the tower, Thor came rushing to your side and killed the mutant, prying you out of it's cold dead hands.

"Whoa...that thing dies quickly.." You said looking at him.

Thor nodded and looked at you, "Lady (Y/N)...are you okay?" He asked.

"Thor it's just (Y/N) or (S/N) but yea I'm fine, you're much better than Clint." You knew your comm was still on and so was Clint's. (S/N= Superhero Name)

Thor carried you back to the tower, you held onto him. When the two of you got back you were faced by Tony and Clint along-side with Bruce and Bucky.

Tony ran up to you, "(Y/NN) Are you okay?" He was worried but also pissed at the same time. (Y/NN= Your Nickname)

You looked up at your big brother, "I see you're sober..and if you could eavesdrop the right way, you can tell I'm alright.."

You went over to Clint, "Clint..I'm sorry I pissed you off.."

Before Clint could speak, there was an huge crash and the lights went off. The only light was a bright orange fuse.
