*Note: Today I'll be posting two chapters because I'm very excited about being back to writing. The next chapter will go up in a few hours. I hope you lovelies enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them*
I spent the majority of the flight trying not to think about how many women Billy would be with while I was gone. I kept telling myself that he was better than that, but deep down I knew Billy just as well as I knew myself. He had his urges just like I do. Well more than I do, but that wasn't the point.
I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind as the plane landed. I was glad to see that Quinn was there to meet me at baggage claim. Quinn was tall and lanky with bright red hair and freckles, he always stood out in any crowd.
"You're late Miss Blair Madison" Quinn said as I grabbed the large duffel bag and threw it over my shoulder. "Have I ever been on time?" I teased him as he hugged me tightly. "Only once" He teased right back.
I was pushed into a taxi and taken straight to the building where the photo shoot would take place the next day. Today I had to do a fitting for the different clothes I would wear. It took up most of the day and when it was finally over I collapsed onto the bed in my hotel room.
I was ready to pass out from exhaustion but my stomach had other plans. I had only eaten once all day and now my stomach growled in anger from being neglected. I decided to check the front desk for any messages before going out to eat. The woman at the desk kindly greeted me as I explained to her why I was there.
"Room number please, ma'am?" She asked. "Oh, um, 328 I think" I answered unsure. She quickly typed something into the computer while she made a noise that sounded like it could've been an annoyed groan or a hum.
"Blair Madison?" She asked. I nodded and smiled. The woman flipped through a stack of papers before handing me one. I thanked her and shoved the paper into my coat pocket before I left to find food.
Once I found a small restaurant and ordered I pulled out the paper. I had one message from Quinn telling me what time I had to be there for the photo shoot and three from Billy.
The first one explained that he had found out from Quinn where I was staying and wanted to know if I was okay, the next one was Billy asking me when I would be coming home, and the last one was him asking if it was something he had done wrong to make me leave. My heart ached in my chest as I thought of Billy even slightly missing me.
I hadn't had a moment to myself to think about him since I landed, but now alone in the restaurant I was wishing that the blonde haired blue eyed heartthrob was at my side. I was snapped out of my thoughts as someone called my name. I looked up and was glad to see the familiar puff of black hair and the man hidden in the mess of hair. I sprang out of my seat and threw my arms around Robert.
"It's good to see you too" He said with a slight chuckle. "What are you doing here?" Robert asked. Running away from my problems again, that was the truth. "I have a photo shoot here" I replied as he sat across from me. We talked for a while, catching up from the last time we bumped into each other.
"The last I saw of you that night....you were running out with Richard Butler" He said with a smile. I let out a nervous laugh. "Yeah and running away from Billy. I don't think much has changed" I said as I shoved my food around of the plate.
"Well if you're interested in coming to another party there's one tomorrow. I wasn't planning on going but I will if you do, you can finally meet my Mary" Robert said as his face lit up. I nodded. "Of course I'll go. You've only been talking about her nonstop since we met, I want to meet her" I said happily.
Once I got back to my hotel room I fell onto the bed and passed out until I got a wake up call from the front desk. Quinn wanted to make sure I would get there on time for once. The photo shoot went by fast since I had something to look forward to that night.
I fixed the dark eye makeup and bright red lipstick from the photo shoot before changing into a simple black dress with my black pumps and my leather jacket thrown on. Robert came to my hotel with Mary before we headed to the party together. She was everything that Robert had built her up to being. Mary was beautiful to say the least and looked a little similar to Robert.
I stayed close to Robert and Mary when we got to the party. There was more people there than I thought would be there. Robert introduced me to some of the people he knew. It seemed like the majority of them were all band members, reporters from different magazines who knew band members, and random people who had either managed to sneak in or were invited by band members. I had done both, I had managed to sneak in with a band member I was invited by.
The party was at the top floor of a large London flat. It had big windows that showed a great view of the city. It made me miss living in England. I scanned the crowd of people for a while before my eyes caught sight of a man who was looking at me. I bushed and quickly looked away before nervously looking back at him. He was standing with a group of men across the room.
"Robert?" I asked as I shook his arm. The black haired man turned towards me and nodded. "Who is that across the room?" I asked as I quickly looked at the man again. He was talking to someone next to him and I noticed him sneaking a look at me much like I did to him.
The man across the room could've easily been described as pretty, cute, and even slightly goofy or strange looking. Either way, I couldn't seem to take my eyes off him. He had a curly mop of blonde hair with a small braid sticking out the side. He was wearing a leather jacket without a shirt, a mess of pearls that hung on his bare chest, and a leather bondage looking skirt with black boots.
"Blair, there's a lot of people across the room. Who are you talking about?" Robert asked as he looked into the crowd of people. "The one with the blonde hair and the skirt" I said as I turned my back to the man. Robert squinted into the crowd before letting out a small laugh.
"That's Martin Gore, from Depeche Mode. You told me before that you like the band right?" Robert asked. I nodded as my cheeks flushed red. A reporter had called Robert's name and before I knew it he was gone. "I'm going with him. You'll be fine on your own right?" Mary asked.
"Yeah, I'll wander around" I told her and smiled. Now I was alone in a crowded room full of people. I got lost in the crowd trying to find something to drink. Somehow I ended up with a cup full of liquor in my hand, so I began making my way through the crowd to find a spot to stand. I tried to push through a group of dancing people only to be shoved out and pushed almost flat on my ass.
