A Better Life

Anxiety's POV

I swear I've never been happier. Roman finally propose to me. After everything I've put him through, and what he had to lose just to be with me, and yet here we are. Engaged. I'm so happy! I don't think I've ever been any happier than now.

Me and Roman were walking back together after our date. He had his arm around my shoulder as we walked. Every once in awhile I would look at the ring.

How did he have the money to pay for this? We're kinda broke.

"You ok Virgil?"

"Yeah. I'm perfect."

"You sure are." He smiled and kissed my cheek.

We continued walking to our house not really saying anything. When we got to our front door we walked in to Patton standing there with a huge smiled on his face.

"DID YOU DO IT ROMAN?! YOU DID DIDN'T YA?!! I KNOW YOU DID!! LET ME SEE THE RING!!"

He pulled my hand and stared at the my ring.

"Wow. That's so beautiful! Virgil your so lucky to have Roman."

"Thanks Patton."

"So. How was your guy's romantic outing?" Logan asked.

"It was perfect. I loved it."

"Awww. Hey Logan, why can't we do that?"

Oh I forgot that Logan and Patton are dating. Who would of thought right?

"Patton you know how I feel about that kind of thing."

"Well I still love ya."

Patton surprised Logan with a hug. Logan was surprised but he hugged hum back. I swear they're the cutest couple ever. Well besides me and Roman.

"You guys are cute together." Roman commented.

"Yeah I guess. I don't know."

"We are. But we're not like you and Virgil. You guys are engaged now! That's big. Oooo. Can I plan your wedding?!!"

"I don't know Patton."

"Please. I won't let you down. I know what I'm doing."

"Ok. Ok. Patton can plan the wedding. And please. Don't go over the top. We don't want a big one Patton."

"That's fine. I got this."

Patton left to his and Logan's shared house.

"Your lucky to have him Logan."

"I know. Even if he's too energetic. Anyways congratulations guys. Hope you guys do fine."

He left leaving me and Roman.

"Well. Looks like we're having Patton plan our wedding."

"Don't you think it's too soon to being planing it?"

"Yeah. But when it comes to Patton he won't listen when he's too excited"

"True. I'm happy that were gonna be married though."

"Me too. I was wondering when you were gonna propose though."

"Oh really? Well we are indeed engaged. And I couldnt be happier."

He pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. I hugged him back.

I couldn't ask for anything more, than to be with him my entire life. Hopefully.
