Rescuing Them {Pt.4}

Patton's POV

I was in shock at the sight of Roman and the condition he was in. I was so scared that I started to silently cry.

"A-Asher?"

He ignored my call to him and went to the cell door.

"Patton. Cover me. Make sure if anyone's coming to warn me!"

I nodded my head and kept watched for anything. I constantly had to keep wiping me eyes from all the tears that kept coming from my eyes.

I glanced over at Asher and saw him picking the lock to Roman's cell. I smiled and went back to watching the place.

"Got it!"

I turned around and saw the cell door open. I gasp and sprinted towards inside the cell. I immediately went to Roman's side.

"Roman?! Roman, are you ok?! Are you in pain?! Can you get up?! What happened!!?" I asked too quickly.

"Patton. Calm down and stay quiet. He's unconscious. But there is an escape exit I've made just around the corner. If we get him out of the dungeon and into a hiding stop outside you can watch him and I'll go find and help the other two. Got it?"

I looked down as more tears escape my eyes. I whipped them and nodded my head.

"Ok. Now help me help him up. It shouldn't take us very long to get him out of here."

I nodded again, wrapped one arm of Roman's around my shoulder like Asher was doing, and we carried him out of the cell.

"Which way?" I whispered.

"This way."

We walked down the hallway and turned a corner only to see a dead end.

"Umm... Asher?.. This is a dead end?"

"I know." He unwrapped Roman's arm, leaving only me to carry him.

"Asher?!"

"Hold on."

He removed a few loose blocks of stones from the wall, making a bit of light shine through.

"Ok. We only have about and hour until everyone wakes up and when the sun rises. If we want to get out of here, we have to be done before hand. Try to carry Roman out of through this and hide. It shouldn't be hard to find a hiding spot for you both."

"Ok.."

"Go! I'll rebuild the wall so no one notices."

I launched my body towards Asher and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you! Thank you so very much for your help Asher! You and Aaron. If you find him, tell him I said thanks.... oh! And tell Logan that I love him."

"Me helping you was no problem. And I'll make sure to tell them that. Stay safe and out of sight. We should be back before the sun rises all the way."

"Ok. Thank you again."

"No need to thank me. Now go!"

I nodded my head and pulled Roman towards the hole in the wall. I pulled him out as Asher started to cover the wall back up. I was finally outside!

I grabbed Roman's arms and dragged him around trying to find a hiding spot.

Come on, where can we hide? I thought to myself.

I looked around and saw tons of over grown bushes. I know Roman wouldn't like it if he actually wakes up, it will be best for us.

I continued to drag him towards the bushes and carried him inside. I let out a sigh of relief.

Please let them be back in time and completely safe! I thought to myself as I looked at Roman.
