Alone

Anxiety's POV

When I woke up the next morning I went to go see Roman like every morning, but he wasn't in his room. I searched the whole house but he wasn't here. I figured he was out getting stuff. So I went back to my room and relaxed. I started drawing in my notebook again. Lately, I've been drawing, and I only did that when I needed to get something off my mind and try to forget about the bad things. So it's strange for me to be doing this if I don't have anything to forget about. Unless I think so.

I just stayed in my room for about an hour. But as I was about to leave me room I heard scratching on my window. I walked towards my window and saw the black kitten there again. I smiled at him.

This kitten has been coming to my window for the past week by now. The first time I saw him I let him in and he snuggled with me and fell asleep on my bed. And everyday since he's been coming here. I'm surprised Roman hasn't found out about him yet.

I opened the window and let him in again.

"Hey Kitty. What are you doing back here?"

I started petting him and he purred against my hand. He is really adorable.

"You hungry again?"

He meowed in response. He clawed up my back and layed on my head. I was confused. I mean he is small enough to do so, he seems only like 3 weeks old. But I smiled and walked to the kitchen with him laying on my head.

When we got to the kitchen, I gave him a small slice of bread. And a little piece of meat we had. And he ate them pretty fast. He does this every time I give him food. It's like he doesn't eat at all unless I give him something.

"Better?" I asked.

He meowed once again and went back in my head. This time he fell asleep. I smiled at him once again. I went back to my room and finished the drawing I was working on. Once I finished I realized that I filled my notebook up. Which is weird cause I've had this exact notebook for about 4 years and it took me this long to fill up the whole thing?!

I didn't think much of it, so I decided to just get me a new one. As I was about to leave the house I remembered that the kitten was still on my head. I gently picked him up and took him outside. But he started to meow and crawl onto me, like he didn't want to leave.

"Sorry bud. But you gotta go."

He still wouldn't let go. I eventually gave up trying and let him sit on my shoulder. We left the house into town. I was actually hoping to see Roman.

I got to the book shop and got a blank book for my drawings. The owner didn't even noticed the kitten because he was blending in with my black cloak I had.

As we left the shop I spotted Roman. But he was with someone. And I wasn't jealous cause I've never seen that person before. Or so I thought. As I got closet I realized who it was.

It was Aaron!?

He was in the group with Alex. He, Alex and some other guy always beated me and abused me. I was surprise to not see him with Alex and Devin. But I didn't care. If he's with Roman and he finds out that Roman's engaged to me, who knows what will happen to me or Roman.

From what I remembered, he was really homophobic. He nearly killed a guy from our home kingdom for liking him in a more-as-a-friend type way. Don't know what that guy was thinking for having a crush on Aaron.

So when I saw him and Roman talking I got out of their sight as fast as I could. I went to the outskirts of the town and sat by a tree on top of a hill. The black kitten was still with. He got off my shoulder and laid on my lap. I made a small grin and laid my head back on the tree.

I never though I'll see him or Alex ever again. I didn't want to. All those painful and horrible memories started rushing through my mind. Every bruise, cut, pain and suffering they put me through and gave me came back.

I now have a reason to draw in my notebook. I want to forget about all those memories again. I want to forget the pain they gave.

I want to forget seeing him and Roman talking and smiling together.

Soooo. Who likes the story so far? This is actually my longest chapter. I haven't even spend and full week on this and it almost has 100 views already! That's amazing. I'm enjoying writing this. And like I said before, I hope you guys are enjoying reading it. And in celebration of Halloween. I'm gonna try and post at least 3-4 chapters tomorrow. I'm gonna be writing during any free time I get. The things I do for my books....I LOVE IT!!! *sorry* Anyways till next time fellow readers....
