Talking About Us

Patton's POV

After the talk me and Virgil had, I left his house with Logan back to ours. When we did get back, I just went straight to my room. Didn't look at Logan, didn't talk to Logan, didn't even interact with him. And I think he didn't notice the way I was acting at all.

I just stayed in my room, thinking about what Virgil said about me and Logan's relationship.

Is Logan really taking it serious? Does he even love me?

All sorts of thoughts ran through my head like crazy. I got a headache from it. I went over to my draw and pulled out this black jewel ring I got for him. I was serious about marrying him. And I know he doesn't like going big with things, so it was just a simple ring.

I stared at it.

Should I actually ask him?

Or

Leave him?

This was all I thought about. Eventually, someone knocked at my door. I quickly hid the ring under my pillow and answered the door. Logan was there.

"Uh... greetings Patton."

"Hey Logan...."

"Umm... are you okay Patton? You seem..... not like.... you."

"I'm fine Logan. Don't worry about me."

"Well, I am.... even though I'm new to this whole... feelings thing. I am worried about you."

"Logan. Nothing's wrong. I just.... need to be alone."

"Patton. I'm not an idiot. I know your lying."

"Logan I don't... really want to talk about it."

"Patton. Please. Talk to me."

"..... Will you listen?"

"Of course I will. Why wouldn't I?"

"Nevermind... But you really want to know what's up with me?"

"Of course I do."

"Ok then. Well, I started thinking about how you really don't take this relationship we have seriously. Which makes no sense to me, because you take everything else seriously."

"Why wouldn't I take this relationship seriously? I have my feelings for you."

"Exactly, feelings. I don't even think you've told me that you love me. Even though I know you do. Or at least I hope so. I'm not trying to criticize you, but I hope that you do love me."

"Patton, of course I do. You know that I can't just say it. Emotions and feelings are new to me. I don't know then well. But I do.... feel that way towards you."

"But can you at least say it. If you can then, I know you do. Otherwise, I really don't know what to think anymore."

"Patton I-I....I lo-"

He cut himself off.

"Can you please leave my room? I-I need to think for a minute."

"Patton I-"

"Please?"

He starred at me for a minute and left. I then started crying in my pillow.

I should of just gave him a chance or something. He's right, he is new to this whole "having emotions" thing so I shouldn't have been that way towards him. I know Logan means no harm to me. He's perfect and that's why I love him. Maybe, he does feel the same way about me, he just needs help showing it to me.

I sat up and pulled out the ring from under my pillow.

I put in back in my draw and went to Logan's room. He was sitting at his desk with his head in his hands. I went over to him and tapped his shoulder. He turned towards me.

"I'm sorry Logan. I know that your right. I should of gave you a chance to explain to me that you do love me. It's just that, I love you with all my heart. I want you to feel the same way about me, and if you don't, I completely understand."

"Patton. I do feel the same way towards you. I just don't kniw how to express it. This whole thing with emotions and whatnot is confusing to me. But with someone like you, I know that you'll help me understand that."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"All you have to do is just try and show your affections for me. You can, hold my hand in public, hug me every once in awhile, go out with me every once in awhile for an romantic outing."

"That's it? What about this thing I saw Roman and Virgil do at there wedding?"

"You mean kissing?"

"I think so?"

"Well that's for people like Roman and Virgil. People who are in a relationship like theirs."

"We've been with each other pretty much since they got together. Isn't that's like our relationship?"

"Sort of. It's only if your ready and I'm ready I guess."

There was this moment of silence, until he walked up to me and quickly pressed his lips towards mine.

This was our first kiss actually. Well more like our first quick peck. Cause he pulled away from me almost right after he kissed me.

"My apologies Patton."

"Don't worry about it Logan.... it wasn't bad though."

I smiled at him and he smiled back.

I think he now knows what it's like to be in a serious relationship.

Hello my fellow readers. Hope your having a wonderful time around this time of year. Hope your all having a Merry Christmas and/or a happy holidays. And unforuately, I won't be able to updated any book chapter for this week. After that though, there will be a total week of just book updated. Hopefully, there will be 1-2 chapters each day. Form either of my books that's i have published. But I do know that I'll have a new book that I'll be starting. So sorry about the lack of updates. But until next time readers....
