Me and You

Roman's POV

Even with Scarlet almost ruining our wedding, our wedding was perfect. I loved how Asher pushed her. But the most amazing thing was that now me and Virgil are officially married. And I couldn't be happier.

Virgil didn't want to leave the town or anything, so we just decided to stay at home. Just me and him and nobody else. But I still wanted to do something special for him. Like a surprise. And I had the perfect idea.

When we got back to our house, I carried Virgil up to his room. I didn't tell him why cause this was a great time for me to get his surprise ready.

"Roman? Why did you carry me to my room?"

"Don't worry about it. Can you just please stay here? For me?"

"I mean.. I guess. But what are you doing?"

"Don't worry about it. Love you."

I kissed his forehead and quickly walked out back to the living room.

I wanted to decorate the living room in a way I know that Virgil would love. And I had this perfect idea as to what I could to.

I quietly left the house and went to the village where I grabbed a whole bunch of different decoration in colors that Virgil love. He is gonna love this.

I got back to the house and quickly started decorating. I got black, purple, and dark purple decoration. I made the whole living room to this beautiful place that I hoped Virgil will love. I then made this dinner area where I plan for me and Virgil to have dinner together. I hope he loves this.

Anxiety's POV

I waited in my room for hours. I changed out of my tux and dressing in my normal clothes. I was playing with Shadow as I waited for Roman to be done with whatever he was doing.

He's been downstairs for hours. Haven't once even checked up on me or anything. I started to think about why. Why hasn't he been with me. We haven't even been married for 24 hours and I have this feeling that he's cheating on me again. My anxiety got the best of me, all the bad thought came into my head.

What if Roman leaves me again?!

What if he doesn't love me?!

What if he starts seeing someone else behind my back?!

All these thought, I was scared and Roman wasn't here. And I  couldn't got see him, he asked me to stay here. But my anxiety took over and I felt an anxiety attack start to happen.

I quickly left my room and went downstairs to the living room. And I saw that the whole place was different.

The place was covered with black and purple decoration. The small table me and Roman are on had this sparkling purple fabric covering it and the whole place was beautiful.

Roman finally noticed I was in the living room. He smiled and offered me his hand to take. And of course I did.

"Well... do you like?"

I stared around the room one more time until I smiled at him and hugged him.

"Like is an understatement. I love it!"

"Well I wasn't able to finish. But I'm glad you love it."

He gave me a small peck on the lips and made me sit down on the couch that had this light purple seating covering it.

He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. No doubt about that!
