Logan's POV
I didn't know where we were going or what we were gonna do, but I already knew we were in trouble. We ran all throughout the hallways trying to outrun the guard, and by now there were tons of them.
"Aaron, what are we doing? I feels like we've been running in circles!"
"Give me a minute!" He stood still in the middle of the hallway. I still heard guards running all around trying to find us.
"Aaron!" I said as he grabbed my wrist and pulled into a room. It was completely dark, so that was good.
"What are gonna do?" I whispered.
"Well, if I got the castle layout Right, this should be one if the master bedrooms. 2 are empty, on is Alice's, another is the king and queen's and another should be Virgil's. Not sure which one, but this is worth a shot." He whispered back.
We started walking around the room. Searching it to see if this one belongs to anyone. We looked around and saw no one here.
"Ok. This one is an empty one. There one more on this floor and the rest are on the next floor."
"Ok then."
We went back toward the door and peeked out to see it any guards were around.
"Ok, let's go quickly. The next room is just around the corner and down the hall." I nodded in response. We quickly left the room and ran towards the other room. We quietly went in there without anyone noticing.
We searched that room too, no one was there as well. Now we had to go upstairs. Which could be difficult, since the king, the queen and Alice are, so there could be tons of night guards.
"Hurry. We only have an hour left to get Virgil and leave." He said. I nodded once more and followed him. We got to the next floor and there were tons of guards surrounding each door.
"How do we get past those guards?" I asked. And he was about to answer, until there was a loud crash from the other side of the castle. All the guards started to run there.
"There we go! Now come on!" We sprinted to one of the room. And there was a figure on the bed, sleeping. We slowly walked to the bed and saw long hair. It was Alice!
"Let's go! Now!"
We speed-walked to the the door and got out as fast as we could. He motioned me to go down the hall to the door. And I did, he followed me and we got to the next room. We tried to go in, but I was locked.
"Its locked."
"Stand back." I did, and he ran straight into it, busting it down.
"Dang." I said and walked in.
"Ok. We have to hurry. We probably only have a small amount of time to see if this is the room and it probably is considering it was locked. We searched the room and saw the bathroom light was on. We waited for it to open and when it did, Virgil was there. Bruised and bloody.
"Virgil!" Aaron said as he hugged him.
"Uhhh....... A-A-Aaron, Lo-Logan? What are you d-doing here?"
"Getting you out. Logan go block the door with something. I have another way out." Aaron said as he grabbed tons of thin blankets.
