Escaping The Castle

Virgil's POV

I watched Aaron tie a bunch of blankets and towels together making it long enough to the ground. And I saw Logan blocked the door with dressers, cabinets and any heavy equipment in the room.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"Getting you out of here. You look terrible Virgil!" Aaron said looking at me. And it's true, I was miserable here, sure the room was nice, but that my "parents" way of showing me that I can live in comfort in a place like here. But I still hated it here.

"W-where Roman?"

"He should be Patton and Asher. And he's safe, I can tell you that, so don't worry."

I smiled a little bit and thought about Roman. Everything that has happened between us and what could happen with us.

But my thoughts were taken away from me when I heard loud voices and banging coming my door.

"Virgil!! What the hell are you doing locking this door! What have I told you about that!?! So open the damn door... NOW!!"

It was Alice and judging by the other voices, guards were with her. That's when I started to panic. Logan was holding everything blocking the door to keep them out.

"Aaron how much longer till we can escape? I can't keep this up!"

"I think it should be long enough now. Hurry up!"

I watched Aaron throw the string of blankets out the window.

"Virgil you should go first, wait down by the bushes and hide there till Logan gets down there."

"W-what about you?"

"I'll be down shortly after Logan. Just make sure you get out with Logan and meet up with Patton, Asher and Roman. Go now."

I climbed down the castle wall, holding tightly onto the blankets. I kept going till I was close to the ground. But the blankets weren't long enough. It was about a four foot drop to the ground. I started at the ground and waited. I was in a little bit of pain since I had small bruises on my body and my legs are sore. But I needed to get out of here. So I let go and dropped to the ground. Falling from the pain in my leg.

I saw Aaron's head look out the window looking at me. Seeing if I made it down safely. I nodded and hide in the bushes like he said. I looked up and saw Logan on his way down. But not Aaron.

So sorry for not updating anything on this books in so long. I plan on ending this book soon. This is probably the longest book I've written and I'm proud of it. So this book probably has about 5 more chapters till the end. So thank you for understanding. But till next time.....
