Patton's POV
The journey was long. All I cared about was them and making sure we get back safely. I saved Virgil many time, but those were all small situations sorta, I don't remember if I've done anything like this.
I guess I always though people saw me as someone who was weak and had no power or strength to be doing something like this. But when you mess with my son, that's when I show a side of me. My "angry" side. I say "angry" cause I don't know another word for it. I just get overprotective. That's all. But I have a feeling that this is different. That this time, Virgil could be killed!!
I shook the thoughts out of my head and saw a structure in the distance. It was the castle! It looked scary. Had like a dark shaded color to it, horrific statutes, and a big wall surrounding the town and the castle.
"There it is. Everyone ready?" Asher asked.
"How do we get in though the wall?" I asked.
"Follow me."
We quietly made our way to the wall of the castle.
"Ok. So the main entrance to the kingdom is pretty much a death sentence. The only way in though the wall without any of us being seen is around the back. There are overgrown bushes with vines that cover the wall. We climb over and use the back entrance to sneak into the castle. The plan goes from there. Got it?"
We all nodded in agreement and followed him. As we walled around the wall I tapped Logan in the shoulder.
"What?" He asked sounding a bit annoyed in a whisper.
"I just wanted to ask you something, and I don't think it can wait."
"Well it's gonna have to Patton."
"Please. Don't be like this again."
"Like what?!"
"You know.... always pretty much ignoring me and stuff."
"What?"
"Look Logan. I know this isn't the best time, but I need to know..... do you still love me?"
He looked at me confused.
"Patton I-"
"SHHHH!" Asher told us to be quiet as there was a guard coming from behind us.
"Who goes there?!" The voice asked aggressively
We all looked at Asher and he told us to run towards the back of the wall. We ran and we got to the wall. We started climbing the vines up and over it. We ended up hiding in the over grown bushes.
We heard someone following us and we all ducked down. It turned out to be Asher, with his sword in his hand and with what looked like blood on it.
"We better hurry. Don't asked what happened. Everyone remember the plan. Me and Patton go save Roman and Logan and Aaron go to Virgil. We shouldn't take too long. If we get done fast, we should have time to help you guys. Ready?" We all nodded and I once again tapped Logan on the shoulder.
"Um.. Logan... you didn't answer my questi-"
"Lets Go!" Asher said.
"We'll talk later."
And we all slit up.
"Ready Patton?"
I nodded my head as I felt as if I was about to cry.

So. Super. Sorry. For. The. Long wait on the updates. I honestly don't know why it took me so long to update any of my books. So many of you guys really like this book and I want all of you guys to enjoy it. I don't know when I'll be able to update again cause I do have other books I write and starting a new ones soon as well. But please understand that I'm doing what I can. Shouldn't be too long for me to update again. But till then readers....
