Escaping

Anxiety's POV

All night, I've been trying to find a way out of the cell. No luck so far. And it was almost dawn, I had about an hour or so till I'm needed by parents. I eventually gave up. I sat in the corner of the dungeon in the dark. This cell was made so no one could escape from it. I sat in corner, thinking about everything that just happened with me and "family".

I'm a prince as of now. Which to me is both a good and a bad thing. It's good because Roman's a prince. Ever since we started dating I've always thought our relationship was kinda off. Just because he use to be a prince and all I was a lonely peasant that had problems. But if I'm really the prince of this terrible kingdom, then I'm ok with it. But it's bad because I'm the prince of this terrible kingdom and I'm my parents kid. I left them years ago and then they were brought back into my life, then I pushed them away from 2 years and now they're back. Ruining my once amazing life with Roman.

I was so lost in though that I didn't even notice that the cell gate was open. I looked over and saw someone. A man to be exact. He has long dark brown hair that went over one of his eyes. From what I see it looks like he had blue eyes

"Your Virgil right? Also known as Anxiety?"

"Uhhh...yeah?"

"Come with me."

He grabbed my arm and pulled me down the hall into a room only lit with torches hanging on the wall.

"Why'd you bring me here?"

"Would you have rathered stayed in there and have to suffer to your parents?"

I shook my head.

"Then your welcome. And I'm here to help you."

"Why? Who are you?"

"I'm not surprise you don't remember me. But to answer your first question in why I'm helping you is because you don't deserve to be treated like that. Not after the way you were treated when you were younger."

"How do you know about that?"

"Cause....i just do."

"Who are you? It'll help if I know."

"Yeah right."

"Im not trusting you if you don't tell your name and who your are."

"You never trusted me."

"What?"

"I can't say. No matter what you won't trust me either way."

"You don't know that."

"Yeah I do....You wanna know who I am?! Fine! But itll make you want to get away from me. I'm just trying to help you, but your just being like how you were when we were younger."

We? He said we. Did you use to actually live in the village with me?

"My name is......"

So sorry about the cliffhanger. But I had to. Couldn't help myself. I already know some people will be a bit upset about this but it's a book. Made to have cliffhangers. And I'm sorry I haven't really been updating so much like I usually do. Everything should be back to normal maybe tomorrow. But till then readers......
