Patton's POV
I feel bad. For the past few days I've been kinda ignoring Logan. After the talk I had with Virgil, I needed my own time to think about things between us. But knowing Logan and on how clueless he is when is comes to showing any emotions, I don't think he's actually noticing anything about me and what I'm going through.
《Time Skip》
I needed to talk with Virgil again. Let out what's been happening lately. And strange enough, I haven't seen him for a while. It's been like a few days since we had that talk, and I could really use some advice from him.
I left the house, Logan probably not noticing and I walked to Virgil's house. I hope he can help me. I need him right now.
I got to his house and knocked on his door, waiting for an answer. Usually, someone would answer it right away, but this time no one answered. I waited for about 5 mins at the door and I heard nothing from the inside. I knocked a few more time, still nothing. I started to worry.
I started banging on the door and this time, I heard a meowing noise.
Shadow!!
I never did check the door knob, I twisted it and saw no one in the house. I heard crying from the kitchen. The meowing again. I quickly walked to the kitchen and saw Shadow there crying.
I picked him up and comforted him. I looked around the entire house and saw no one! I got really worried and scared. I know that Roman and Virgil wouldn't leave Shadow here alone and if they both had to leave, usually Virgil would take Shadow with him. It either they left and forgot Shadow, or something terrible happened to both of them.
Shadow was crying and I still had him in my hands.
"It's ok Shadow. I'll take care of you until we find Virgil." I said in a soothing voice.
He climbed up to my shoulder just like they way he does it with Virgil and held onto me tightly with him claws clinging to me. I petted his head and left the house, running back to my house.
I got back to my house and quickly searched for Logan. I found him in his study, doing typical Logic stuff.
"Logan, when was the last time you saw Roman and Virgil?!"
"No. Why do you ask?"
"Cause I went to their house wanting to talk to Virgil and no one was there! I saw Shadow crying in the kitchen when I went in!"
"I'm sure they're just wenr out for awhile and they'll be back, no need to worry Patton."
"But what if something bad happened, this happened to Virgil before and now it's happened to both of them! They wouldn't just leave Shadow all by himself, especially Virgil!"
"Patton, stop worrying! They're the strongest couple I've ever seen, they'll be back."
"But what if they dont come back?"
"They will. I know they will."
"Can you just please come back with me to there house? I don't want to leave Shadow all by himself."
"I suppose."
He got up and we walked back to they house.
"Wait here. I'll get his stuff from Virgil's room."
I walked up the stairs to Virgil's room and got all in Shadow's things. When I went back downstairs I saw Logan in the kitchen, looking at the floor.
"What is it? What are you looking at?"
"Well, I saw this red spot on the floor and I'm looking to see what it is."
"What is it?"
"Well judging by the color and seeing that it's a dried up, I gotta say that this spot is about 2 days and that it is indeed a blood spot."
"It's what?!!"
"Blood. I don't know who from, but I think you were right. Something did happen to them."
"What make you think so?"
"The back door is broken, I noticed this piece of ripped fabric I found on the floor and there's a shattered window right by the door."
I grabbed the fabric from his hand and looked at it.
"Never seen any kind of fabric like this before."
"It's obviously from Roman's old kingdom. The type of clothing that the king wears. Also known as Alex." Someone else said. We turned towards the door and saw someone else standing there.
