Supposedly I had been gone for over twelve hours.

The only things I was able to remember were the strangely threatening numbness and the faint ringing that had occurred only a few minutes after Thomas had taken the pill.

But now I was conscious again, after awakening I had seen princey sitting beside me as if I had died, the numbness slowly slipping away as I wrapped my arms around him, making him tense his muscles but relaxing as soon as he realized who it must've been.

After a few minutes of us just enjoying each other touch, we broke apart, Roman staring me up and down, looking for any of the remaining symptoms I did not yet know about.

So I asked what had happened again. And he explained with every tiny detail he was able to remember. And I just looked at him, my eyebrows rising higher and higher as my eyes got wider, not being able to progress the things he was saying. It sounded straight out of a dark-fairytale and I just looked and listened, my mouth slightly opened and my hands still laying in his.

"But it's alright now right? You are not harmed in any kind of way and all of the symptoms are gone correct?"

He had a slightly crazed look to him as he spoke, his hands trembling and his hair and clothes looking as if he had worn them for way too long even though it had only been twelve hours.

"The only thing that needs to happen is for Logan to tell Thomas to stop taking the pills right?"

"I can't I'm afraid."

Logan had appeared in the doorway, first aid kit in hand he now walked towards us and started studying me very closely.

"What do you mean you can't?"

I looked at him as he answered, not taking his eyes of-of me as he now closely examined my eyes, looking for bits of black Roman explained later on.

"I can't tell Thomas to stop taking the medication as it is needed. I know it's harming or at least doing something to Virgil but I can't tell him to stop taking the pills because it harms the thing he wants to get rid of."

Roman stared at him, rage slowly forming in his eyes and he was about to say something as a yell interrupted him and made us all turn around rather quickly.

"Virgil oh my god!" Patton, who supposedly had just walked by to get a quick glance at my situation was running towards me and had wrapped his arms tightly around me in a matter of seconds. We stayed that way for a couple minutes, him not wanting to let go of me and me just enjoying the touch of a person I knew truly did care about me even though that technically is his job.

"Are you alright son?" As the fatherly trait finally pulled away he looked at my face very closely, probably trying to do the same as Logan and spot any hint of black in my eyes. He let out a breath as he realized they had their normal, hazel-brown colour.

"I won't let anything even remotely like that happen to you ever again Virgil, okay?"

Logan looked at him rather uncomfortable before carefully explaining that we simply did not have a choice. Patton just looked at him, his giant grin slowly disappearing and tears slowly forming in the corners of his eyes.

After Logan had finished and realized this he pulled Patton in for a hug, kissing the top of his head while doing so.

I shot a glance at Roman just for him to mouth the word 'goals'. I smiled and grabbed his hand.

Maybe, even though I would only be able to experience half a day at a time because of these pills. Maybe we would be able to be happy like this.

I just wished we never left that room, that exact position we were in at that very moment.

Me practically sitting in Romans lap, one of our hands locked together, his other holding my waist to prevent me from slipping of-of his lap, our foreheads pressed together in a moment of immense peace.

Logan and Patton sharing a tight embrace, every few second the logical trait would plant a kiss on top of the others head who would sniff a little and show a small, loving smile.

But, of course, we had to move eventually.
