Clemont was at the waiting area. He was still number 9 among the people who wanted to talk to Ross. They were fortunate to be at number 9 since Ross only accepted 10 daily.

He was surprised. He didn't think a lot of people were actually trying to talk to him. He heard the others talking about how they've always wanted to reach out to him, but they always get delayed because they were cut off. Most of them looked more like common folk rather than inventors.

He wondered. If many people actually wanted to talk or ask favors from him, shouldn't it be more obvious that he was not the good man some claim him to be? Maybe they're asking money from him.

He thought. If there are some common folk here...hm...what if Ross is actually like Robin Hood? He takes from the rich to give to the poor. I mean...they don't look poor. They look middle class. But still...I wonder what they're here for.

He decided to ask the young man before him as to what his intentions were. The young man didn't speak up. He just told Clemont to mind his own business.

'Calling number 2, Mr. Karl Aldridge. Please proceed to the head office now.' They heard the PA call.

"Just number 2? This'll take a while." Clemont muttered.

They saw a woman (around her 30s) who had just left the office. She looked quite excited.

"I can't wait for tomorrow night." He overheard her say.

Clemont then saw another woman enter the waiting room.

"Barely made it. I wonder why so many people come here to talk to Mr. Ross. I mean...everyone wants the chance to impress a boss man like him." The woman said as she took the empty seat beside Clemont.

"Uh huh..." Clemont uttered awkwardly.

"Oh? How come you're here?" She asked Clemont.

"I'm here to present some inventions to Mr. Ross. You know, Tech Me Later."

"I see. Hmm...someone who's smart and quite handsome. How old are you?"

Clemont blushed. "I'm 17."

"Ah heck. You're not even legal yet. Are you turning 18 later this year?"

"Uh...no. I had my birthday earlier this year."

"Damn it. Why can't you be a year older? Whatever." She turns to poke the young man beside Clemont. "How about you? How old are you?"

"I'm 20, but I'm not interested in discussing with the likes of you. I have a girlfriend." He replied angrily.

"Sheesh. What an attitude. Whatever. I'll just talk with a real man later."

Clemont then whispered to the guy beside him. "I wonder if these women are trying to get themselves to date Ross. Isn't he like 50 or something?"

The young man narrowed his eyes on him. "It's the money they're after."

Meanwhile, May, Max and Bonnie were at the exhibit room. Luckily (for them), they were the only ones there.

They saw a sign. These exhibits for display purposes only. They are not the actual product. They are not functional.

The three looked around the exhibit.

"Anything suspicious, Kevin and Philippa?" May asked Max and Bonnie.

"I wonder if the actual machines are hidden somewhere." Max thought.

"And where do you think can we find the lock so that we can use the key card Clarise gave us?" May asked.

Bonnie looked at one of the displays. "A Cell Fusion Machine? It enables humans and Pokemon to fuse together? That seems kinda fun at the same time disturbing."
