I'll Always Be There For You [COMPLETED!]

Chapter 1 •Annie & Hayden•

My name is Hayden Taylor Summerall and I am 12 years old. My birthday is December 5th and I have 3 brothers and their names are Dylan, Hunter, and Jimmy. They are very close in age and of course I had to be like 6 years younger then them. Hunter and Jimmy are home in Texas with my mom. I saw them during the summer but it was kind of awkward.

But anyways, I am here to tell you my story. A story about a young boy who thought he would never like a girl. Key word = thought. I really didn't know much about girls and how they acted. Especially since I live in a house full of boys.

The only girl I really knew was Jayden Bartels. Her mom and my dad were close and always forced us to hang out. She's pretty cool, but I don't like like her. She is like a sister to me. My mom is home in Texas with Hunter and Jimmy while my dad is here taking care of Dylan and I in Maryland. My parents split up when I was 10, but they are still good friends.

Well now that you know about me and my life, I think now is the time to start this story. It's full of laughs, tears, memories, and more specifically....love.

Hayden's POV

BEEP BEEP! Ugh please just give me one more day of summer. My eyes were almost shut when I heard BEEP BEEP! It's the first day of school. No more sleeping in, worrying about homework, or playing video games until 1am anymore. I finally got the energy to get up and get breakfast.

"Good morning Hayden." My dad said.

"Morning." I said still tired.

"Someone's in a bad mood."

"You think? It's the first day of school!" I said annoyed.

"Calm down Hayden your work is easy." Dylan said coming down the stairs.

"Whatever. I'm getting changed so I can catch the bus."

"I could just drive you." Dylan offered.

"No thanks." I said.

"You do you."

I went upstairs and quickly showered. I came out and put on some black jeans and a red t-shirt. I put on some black sneakers and grabbed my backpack.

"Bye dad! Bye Dylan!" I said running out the door.

"Bye!" They said.

I walked to the bus stop and sat down on a bench. I was on my phone waiting for the bus when I saw a girl sit down next to me.

"Hey." She said.

Wow she's really pretty.

"Hi." I said.

She smiled and said, "I'm Julianna but everyone calls me Annie."

I smiled back and said, "I'm Hayden."

The name Annie sounded very similar. I think Jayden has mentioned that a girl named Annie was her best friend.

"Hey do you know a girl named Jayden Bartels?" I asked.

"Yeah, why?" She asked.

"I hung out with her over the summer." I said. I thought she would know about me.

"Oh so you're the mysterious boy she hung out with." She said with a grin.

"Mysterious boy?"

"She would always say that she had summer homework to do and that she was busy whenever I asked if she could hang out. I knew she was lying so I did some research and found out she was hanging out with a boy. I never found out his name but now I know." She explained.
