Annie's POV

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I picked up my phone and saw that it was 6:30. School starts in 2 hours. I didn't feel like getting up so I just laid there until I got a text from Kenzie.

Kenz 💕: Hey Annie I just wanted to apologize for yesterday. I didn't mean to take it that far.

Annie💙: it's okay Kenzie. We all make mistakes

Kenz 💕: so you're not mad?

Annie💙: nah

Kenz 💕: ok good.

Annie💙: well I'm gonna start getting ready for school so I'll see you later

Kenz 💕: bye

I put down my phone and started to get up when I got a notification. I looked at my phone and saw that Hayden sent me a text.

Hayden 💜: gm Anns are you awake

Annie💙: gm Hayden and yes I am awake

Hayden💜: so are you taking the bus to school?

Annie💙: Idk maybe Caleb will drop Hayley and I

Hayden💜: ok I was just wondering because Dylan is sick and my dad left early for work

Annie💙: so do you need a ride?

Hayden💜: yeah

Annie💙: ok I'll ask Caleb if he can pick you up

Hayden💜: thanks

Annie💙: np brb

I walked downstairs and saw Caleb making breakfast.

"Good morning Annie." Caleb said flipping pancakes.

"Morning Caleb. I was wondering if you can pick up Hayden on the way to school because he has no ride." I asked hoping he would say yes.

"Yeah sure. Tell him to be ready in an hour." Caleb said putting the pancakes on a plate.

"Ok cool." I said going upstairs.

"Wake Hayley up so she could come get breakfast!" Caleb yelled.

"Okay!" I yelled back.

I walked upstairs and went into Hayley's room.

"Hayley wake up so you can breakfast." I said shaking her.

"Give me 5 more hours." She said covering herself with her blanket.

"We are leaving in an hour, Hay." I said getting impatient.

"Ughhhh fine." She said climbing out of her bed.

I quickly went in my room and grabbed my phone and then came back downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Thanks Caleb." I said getting a plate.

"No problem." He said with a smile.

I got my pancakes and sat next down to Hayley. I texted Hayden and told him to be ready in 30 minutes. I put down my phone and started to eat.

"These were really good, Caleb!" I said putting my plate in the sink.

"Yeah, these were the best pancakes I've ever tasted." Hayley said.
