Chapter 14 •Halloween Party•

Time skip to the day before Halloween>>

Annie's POV

It's been about a month since the trip. It was really boring and there was nothing interesting and the movie was more of a documentary. Thankfully, there hasn't been any drama. Jayden and I are drifting apart. We barely talk anymore and the only thing that's actually keeping us friends is the squad. Other than that, everything's great. Halloween is tomorrow and Rush and Brooke are having a party. I'm going to be a minion with Lexi.

"Annie?" Hayden asked.

"Yeah?"

"What are you going to be for Halloween?" He asked.

"I'm going to be a minion." I answered.

"What is that?" He asked.

"From minions!" The squad said.

"Minions?" Hayden asked.

I nodded.

"What is that?"

"You know the movie?" I asked.

"I've never heard of that in my entire life." He said.

"Seriously?" Kenzie asked.

He nodded. I took out my phone and showed him a picture of the minions.

"Oh those?!" He said.

"You've seen them right?" I asked.

"Yeah of course! I thought they were called munchkins or something."

I face palmed. We kept talking about Halloween until lunch was over.

All of the girls in the squad are by my house.

"Lexi you have your long sleeve yellow shirt with the overalls right?" I asked.

"Yeah I got one for you just in case you didn't have one." She said grabbing the shirt from her bag.

"Oh thanks." I said as she threw it to me.

"I have the overalls and now all we need are the goggles." I said.

"I got those too." She said grabbing them.

"Okay we're all set!"

"You guys know what you're gonna be right?" Lexi asked.

"Yeah I'm gonna be Wonder Woman." Jayden said.

"I'm gonna be a zombie." Brooke said.

"And Dylan and I are gonna be Netflix and chill." Kenzie said.

"Okay cool!" Lexi said excitedly.

"Do you guys know what the guys are going to be?" I asked.

"I know that Rush has a vampire costume that our mom got for him." Brooke explained.

We all nodded.

Hayden's POV

All of the boys that are in the squad are at my house.

"I heard the girls are at Annie's house." Rush said.

"Yeah Dylan went over. She said they're gonna talk about Halloween and girl things. What's that supposed to mean?" Caden said.

We all shrugged.

"Do you guys have crushes?" Carson asked.
