Chapter 13 •The Fight•

Hayden's POV

"Hayden you're unbelievable." Johnny said.

"Me?"

"No the trash can!" He said.

"Look I'm sorry about your phone but you kinda deserve it." I said.

"What did I do?" He asked raising his voice.

"You were gonna show Annie the video that shouldn't even exist!" I shouted.

"Hayden do you even like Annie? Cause it looks like you like Jayden." He said.

"Jayden and I are only friends!" I said.

"Well you and Annie are never gonna work. Sorry but it's the truth." He said crossing his arms.

That's when I lost it. I punched him. He was shocked at first, but then he punched me back. Great now I have a bloody nose. We kept on fighting until our gym teacher, Mr Cole, broke us apart.

"Hey hey hey! Calm down here." He said.

Johnny and I both glared at each other.

"Hayden and Johnny go to the principal's office. Now." He said.

We didn't move.

"I said now." He demanded.

We walked into the cafeteria because that was the only way to the principal's office. All eyes immediately went on us.

"Everyone stop staring and mind your own business!" Mr C shouted.

Everyone stopped staring except the squad. I looked at them and they looked confused except Annie. She just looked disappointed.

We finally reached the office and I saw my dad and Johnny's parents.

"Sit down." Mr Ferguson (the principal) said.

We both sat down and our parents stayed standing there with their arms crossed.

"Wow I never thought you two would fight. Aren't you best friends?" Mr Ferguson said.

We both nodded slightly.

"Well then why did you fight?" He asked us.

We both stayed quiet.

"Fine then. I won't suspend you two." Mr F asked.

"You won't?" I asked.

"No. Because I know this is about a girl. I can tell." He said.

"How did you know?" Johnny asked.

"I know more things then you think kids. Now you two should go home." He said.

We both nodded and got up.

My dad was probably furious and I don't blame him. I've been an idiot for the last couple of days. I was about to open the doors so I can go to the car when someone randomly hugged me. I looked down to see that it was Annie.

She let go and mouthed "good luck with your dad" and walked away. I smiled and left the building. I saw Mackenzie talking to Johnny inside.

The whole car ride home was silent and when we got home I got my phone taken away. I waited for Dylan to come home and when he finally did I asked if we could go to the Apple Store. My dad allowed it surprisingly.

We are finally purchasing the iPhone X I bought. It was for Johnny. I've been saving up to by me one, but I thought this was a way to get our friendship back. We left the store and went back home.
