Annie's POV

I woke up and realized something.
Hayley comes back home today! I still have to go to school though and present the project Hayden and I did. We finished it yesterday and now we just need the teacher to see it. I went downstairs to see Mom making breakfast.

"Good morning." She said.

"Morning." I said smiling.

"Did you sleep well?" She asked.

"Yeah I'm excited to see Hayley. But I'm nervous for Hayden and I's assignment." I said.

"I'm sure you'll do great!" She said with a smile.

"Thanks." I said.

"Now eat your breakfast and get ready." She said passing me my plate.

"Okay." I said taking the plate.

"Good morning." Caleb said walking down the stairs yawning.

"Caleb hurry up and eat and get ready." Mom said passing him his plate.

"Okay okay." He said shoving eggs into his mouth.

"Bye mom! Bye Caleb!" I yelled opening the door.

"Bye!" They both said waving.

I closed the door and went to the bus stop. I sat down on the bench and waited for the bus. I saw Hayden walking over and we said hi.

"Are you ready for our presentation today?" Hayden asked.

"I think so. I'm kind of nervous though." I said.

"We got this, Anns." Hayden said grabbing my hand.

I smiled and got butterflies in my stomach. The bus arrived and we got in and went to school.

We just got to school and our first period is social studies. Of course. We heard the bell ring and we walked to class.

"Hayden and Annie. You're up." Mrs Taylor said.

"O-okay." I said stuttering.

We got up and walked over to the board. We did our skit and when we were done, the whole class clapped. Including Mrs Taylor!

"That was great! Good job." Mrs Taylor said wiping a tear and clapping.

"Thank you!" We both said.

We sat down and watched everyone else present.

It's now lunch and the whole squad is sitting at our table.

"Are all of you guys still coming tonight?" I asked.

Everyone said yes and we were talking about what games we were going to play.

"Well we definitely have to play truth or dare." Mackenzie said.

"Yeah. I got some questions in mind." Johnny said looking at me.

"Okay? I'll add that to the list." I said getting my notebook out.

"You seriously have a list?" Hayden said laughing.

"Well I need everything to be perfect. Hayley's finally coming home today and tonight needs to be the best night of her life." I said writing down everything.

"Wouldn't the best day of her life be when she's getting married or something?" Hayden asked.

"Fight me." I said.
