Chapter Seven Outting

Nalani wasn't exactly convinced but when Koa confirmed it. She knew Koa wasn't a liar. She also knew that he always told the truth. Not just because of programming or anything like that. He was actually programmed with his own kind of personality. Much like other bots. Mililani was still a little skeptical about all of this. She asked,"Ealish,  I honestly would believe you but this just. I don't know. What did you say her name was?"

"Asoka. She said that she's a fairy princess.",Ealish said. She was toying with her breakfast muffin. It was almost her height and it was chocolate chip. Picking off a huge piece of chocolate chip, she said,"I mean she had the wings and the height for it."

"Huh. That's kind of weird.",Nalani said. Toying with her own breakfast muffin, she sat back in her chair. She said,"Kind of wondering why she came to you though."

"Curiosity was mostly the reason she came in. I think that's what she said.",Ealish said. She chomped down on the chocolate chip she pulled off. Nalani set down her breakfast muffin on her plate. She said,"Huh. Fairies usually are the curious type. They're also annoying evil little troublemakers. So good luck with whatever your getting from her."

"I'm going to be carefull."

"Good cuz we don't need to explain to your Mom why you were in the hospital.",Mililani said. She gets a mug from the cupboard near the sink and starts making herself tea. Looking back,she asks,"So what are you going to ask of her,Ealish?"

"I dunno. Maybe ask her to take me flying with her.",Ealish said. Grinning, she sits down in her doll chair. Her grin grew a little as she said,"That'd be kind of fun. Being able to fly without worrying about my health or people staring."

"Also it'd wouldn't cost as much money either.",Nalani said. Finishing off her muffin, she smiled down at her cousin. Ealish nods her head a little as she said,"Yeah. Doubt she'd be able to fly me all the way back home though."

"Yeah. Bug wings aren't specifically made for long distance ocean travel.",Mililani said. Sitting down next to Nalani,she takes a long swig of her tea. It was going to be an interesting day. But hey at least it was something to do.

For now at least.

After breakfast, they got washed up and dressed. Koa cleaned up the house quicker than normal and got his favorite purse out. He rolled along with them as they left the house on foot. Mililani said,"I think we should go to the farmer's market today."

"Yeah. Wonder if they got shaved ice this year. Last year they didn't.",Nalani said as she held a basket in one hand. Her purse in the other. Ealish sitting on her shoulder with her tiny purse in hand. Koa said,"I kinda hope they got that one booth that sells chargers. I need a new one."

"Yours is working just fine,Koa. You don't need a new one.",Nalani said with a roll of her eyes. As they walked towards the first booth that had colorfull shoes for sale and purses. The shoes were pretty but the purses weren't exactly what they were looking for. So they all moved on to a different booth. It was selling sodas from the Mars colony that were weird colors and had a language they couldn't understand. Ealish wanted to get one but realized that it would probably be too big for her to drink. And she'd end up drinking it for the rest of her vacation in the states. Marsian drinks usually were lovely but you wouldn't want to drink them for a week.

Literally. Marsian soft drinks had negative effects on Earthians. One was that your acne would flare up like hell. That was definitely a minor problem. The major was they'd possibly increase your blood sugar to dangerously high levels. And you'd either get really sick or wind up in the hospital. A person literally had died from drinking this product for too long. Marsians willingly recalled the drink as soon as possible. But no one is certain that they changed anything like they said they would.

So it's the least bought drink ever.

All of them went over to the shaved ice booth and got themselves a few cones. Ealish ate as much as she could before she gave it to Nalani to finish for her. Mililani was trying to convince Koa that he can't eat any of hers. But that didn't stop him from trying to beg for at least one lick. Then they headed out to a booth selling chocolates but didn't find anything they liked.

After a while Mililani, Nalani and Ealish decided it was best they go home. And watch some crappy comedies while eating ice cream. Koa wanted to stay but he realized his favorite booth wasn't there this year so he went along. He said,"I wonder what's on tonight. I didn't get a chance to check the schedule with my line up app."

"I think they got this old time movie on. Can't remember the name of it but it's good.",Nalani said as they walked home. Mililani rolled her eyes as they walked into the house. She said,"If it has anything to do with that abusive asshole actor then forget it."

"Uhh...which one?",Ealish asked. She raises a brow as Nalani set her down on the coffee table. Mililani raises a brow as she turns on the tv and said,"I dunno. Well maybe we could watch that new one that came out three months ago."

"Cool. Who wants popcorn?",Nalani asks. Both her cousins say yes along with Koa. Koa 'pouts' as everyone else tells him that he can't have any. He sighs as he puts his purse back on its hook and he said,"You guys suck the fun out of everything."

Ealish sits down on the plastic chair she has and said,"Yeah. We totally don't suck the fun out of smell burning popcorn and having to clean you out."

"Yeah. Such fun is ruined!",Mililani said rolling her eyes. Nalani presses the buttons on the popcorn maker. She walks back into the living room as she waits for it to start. Sitting down in her favorite arm chair as she said,"Yeah how mean of us. We're so evil."

"Oh shut up!"
