Ealish was seated on the couch cushion when Marsha came in. She was holding a small dress up as she said,"I'll turn away when you put this on."
"Thanks.",Ealish said as she took it from Marsha. Who then turned around while she took off her nightgown. She slipped on the dress quickly as Marsha said,"I'm sorry for dressing you without your permission earlier. You were shivering so badly that I thought you were going to catch cold."
"It's okay. You were just trying to be helpfull.",Ealish said as she straightened the dress. Calmly she said,"You can turn around now."
Marsha turned around with a small smile on her face. She said,"Looks good on you. Very lovely color."
"Thank you. So I don't suppose you have a telescreen?",Ealish asked. She looked around the small living room in hopes there was one. Then she'd at least be able to comm Jaquelin. Her hopes were dashed when the older woman said,"Sorry. Those things are just so expensive. I honestly can't afford them."
"Oh. Okay then.",she sighed. Marsha went into the kitchen as she said,"I'm going to be taking some treats to my landlord. He's been so lonely since his wife divorced him. It might cheer him up."
Honestly,Ealish couldn't be bothered with him. All she wanted was the chance to get home. Or at least be able to see the fairy princess again. She sighed as she looked towards the window and thought,'I wonder if she's looking for me.'
Across town, Asoka was seated on the windowsill of Nalani and Mililani's guest room. She had come by for a while now trying to find clues to who took Ealish. But like this time, she had found absolutely none. Sighing, she began flying home when she heard three little voices crying. Flying a bit lower, she noticed that it was three little kids being comforted by a grown up. When she got close enough to them, a little boy pointed her out. He said,"Look! It's the fairy princess!"
The grown up looked at her with his eyes practically bugging out of his head. He said,"She's real..."
A little girl said,"She's even prettier than Ealish said."
Asoka landed on the man's shoulder as she asked,"You've seen her. When was the last time you saw her?"
A little boy with a frog plushie said,"An hour ago. This creepy beetle guy took her. Jaquelin said that he tossed her out of his house and we've tried to find her."
"Where was that?",Asoka asked. The little boy with the frog plushie pointed to where they last were. Jaquelin said,"I doubt she's still around that area though. Also I'd be carefull. That guy likes to harm young girls."
"I'm a warrior. I'll be fine. Thank you all so much.",Asoka said. She flew off Jaquelin's shoulder towards the place that the boy pointed. Her expression determined as she hoped to be able to find her friend soon. Also to bring her back to her family where she belongs. She saw the look of sadness on Ealish's mother's face made her even more determined. Asoka knew exactly what it was like to see a mother upset. Her own was when she went away for extended periods of time and never contacted her.
Roislin was too upset to speak when she saw her. Poor woman was staring at the telescreen as she mumbled,"She'll come back soon. I know that she'll come back soon."
Nalani was keeping her calm with some tea. Mililani and Koa kept her filled in. Koa was the most upset of the three of them. He felt it was mostly his responsibility that this had happened. Especially since that he was the best 'person' to defend her. Due to the fact that home-bots come equipped with tazers and handcuffs. Also they had a direct link to 9-1-1. Though she did heavily blame the bot for this, she didn't say so. After all,he needed to charge just like humans need to sleep.
Hopefully,Ealish would be safe. And completely unharmed. Sure she had some healing powers, they wouldn't work completely on mortal injuries. Or on herself. Asoka just hoped that Ealish was just lost, cold and in need of a ride. That she'd be easy to find in the city that they were in as well.
If not, then she would have to beg her parents for help to find Ealish. Since none of them really much liked humans, they'd ban her from finding Ealish. Then they'd keep Asoka locked into the fairy 'city' to keep her safe.
From herself mostly.
