Ealish couldn't believe her lack of luck. After all, who else but her would come face to face with a person she blocked online? Especially when he seemed to be quite well, disgusting. Even more so than she believed he was from his comment.

Scrawny, pale and generally filthy. He exuded this odor that his gracious tenant didn't seem to, or at least didn't speak of, notice this at all. The grown man in front of her, in a soiled jogging suit, sat on a rusted old computer chair. His stained hands toying with the pretty packaging for the pretty treats that were brought him. Sweet pink treats that were strawberry flavored. Ealish forgot what Marsha said they were called. All she knew was her landlord, Miles Underwood, was in utter love with them. Putting them back down,Miles said,"Thank you, Ealish. This is quite the nice apology treat from you."

"Yeah. No problem.",Ealish said. Forcing a grin, she looked over at Marsha who was smiling politely. And for a moment,Ealish wondered if Marsha was trying to set them up. Though she highly hoped that she was completely wrong about that. She really hoped that Marsha wasn't trying to set her up with this gross stink pile. Though it seemed more likely as she kept hinting at Miles dating life and his interests.

Which sounded highly disgusting, disturbing and not to mention just plain nerdy.

Miles owned several anime figurines that were lighter skinned than herself and thinner. In fact they seemed unhealthily thin. Like they were getting over some form of illness. Or like they were stretched out too far. As far as she was concerned,it wasn't cute. Then there were the posters as well. Not to mention the 'adorable' cartoon that was playing earlier.

It was a microphilia picture that featured someone similar to herself. This one featured the protagonist being trapped by a sadistic young man with a knife. He cut off her legs then her arms. Thankfully he turned it off when he realized they were there. She was afraid to find out what else the man was going to do. Marsha helped Ealish to the table as the three of them spoke about the treats. And the possibility of a date. Though Ealish vehemently said that she didn't want to date Miles. Even told him that she was flattered but uninterested in it. Disturbingly, but unsurprisingly, he didn't take her 'no' for an answer.

The date was set for tomorrow afternoon at five-thirty. Marsha arranged it to be in her apartment's kitchen. Along with a movie afterwards. Despite her several protests on the matter,it was set anyway. Glaring up at the sky,she thought,'Gee. It's almost like I'm talking to the wall or something. Does my opinion really mean that little to them?'

Watching Marsha and Miles speak over the finer details of the 'date',she realized it didn't Her opinion meant absolutely nothing to them. And that horrified her.

When they got to Marsha's apartment, she nearly went ballistic. But stayed calm and asked,"Just what was that about? Why in the world did you set me up with your landlord?"

"Well it's been a while since he's left his apartment and I think he needs someone to date.",Marsha said. She started to clean up her living room. Putting the pillows back in their usual spot, she said,"I also think this will do you some good."

"How do you figure that?",she asked. Ealish toyed with her shoes as Marsha straightened the coffee table. When she finished tidying up the only slightly messy room, Marsha said,"I do believe this will help with your patience is all. After all you have to learn to deal with annoyances now and then."

"Yeah. No. What's your real reason?",Ealish asked. She glared into the old woman's face as she blushed bright red. In a slightly humiliated tone, she said,"I um...okay. Honestly I thought him dating you would make him lower my rent a little. He's been talking about raising it even more and I thought dating you would make him stop."

"So that's your only reason to do this? I told you that I'm not interested in him. You seriously didn't consider this?",Ealish asked. When Marsha looked down at her, a cold chill went up her spine. She squirmed on the couch as Marsha said,"Ms Scarsberg,I could have left you out in the cold to die. No one would have known about it. But I took you into my home out of the kindness of my heart. Don't doubt for a second that I wouldn't throw you out."

Ealish knew that she had to leave this disturbing woman as soon as humanly possible. Hopefully she could find a way out of this creepy ass date.

Otherwise she'll be in deep trouble.
