Nalani walked around the living room with Koa. His pincers toying with his purse as he asked,"I can't believe I didn't hear her. Why did I turn my sensors off?"

"You charge easier when you do. I can't believe we didn't. I mean her voice is quiet but...still.",Nalani muttered quietly. Looking down at her feet, she sighed,"I...I wish I had done something..."

Mililani walked in holding her portscreen as she came into the living room. She looks up at them as she said,"I commed Aunt Roisin just a few minutes ago. She's going to get her neighbor to watch her farm for her and she's coming out here soon."

"I can't believe that someone stole Ealish from us.",Nalani said quietly. She curled up in her chair as she looked at her older sister as Mililani put her telescreen on the table. Koa's pincers twirled as he let out a frustrated beeps and said,"I feel so ashamed. I should have done something more. She's going to be so ashamed of us."

"She's going to be worse. I think she'll hate us.",Mililani said. She curled up in her chair as she looked at her sister. Who just sighed as she crossed her arms across her chest. Quietly she said,"No she won't. She's heartbroken but I highly doubt that Aunt Roisin would do anything like that."

"How do you know? She's just lost her daughter because of our carelessness.",Mililani said quietly. Nalani walked over to her sister and put her hands on her shoulders. She said,"We were carefull. We just didn't imagine some freak would take her from us. I mean who can predict that?"

Letting out a sigh, Mililani said,"You're right. I just...I feel so useless you know...like we should have done more."

"I know. But we should prepare the guest room for Aunt Roislin.",she told her sister. Nalani let go of her sister, then walked with Koa to the guest room. Koa said,"I hope she won't be too cross with me. I feel so utterly guilty about all of this."

"She could never be mad at you, Koa. You know that she loves you.",Nalani said. Patting the home-bot's back, she said,"You aren't at fault. No one but the creep that took her."

"Just...I don't understand why someone would take her. It's just weird that someone would want to harm her.",the home-bot said. He whirled to the bed as they started to fix up the bedroom. Making up the bed,he said,"I've scanned my files over and over. All I've come up with so far is microphilia."

"I'm afraid to ask what that is.",Nalani said as she put out some towels then fixed the dresser. She looked over at Koa as he said,"It's a fetish for unrealistically tiny people. Or shrinking people. Mostly found in the furry fandom."

"I really wish you hadn't told me that.",she said quietly. Her face scrunched up in complete disgust as she cleaned up the mirror. Koa makes the bed presentable as he said,"I wish I wasn't given access to this information. We can all dream."

(Five Hours Later)

Thanks to some string pulling, Roislin got to her niece's home sooner than she intended. She was now sitting in their living room with a cup of tea as she said,"Koa. Girls. I don't blame any of you for this. I just. I can't believe someone would do this."

"I think we should contact the police.",Mililani suggested. She poured her sister a cup of her favorite tea. Then she set down the kettle and said,"They might be able to help."

"Might? Mililani. We can't just go with 'might'. We need something better than just 'might'.",Nalani said. Picking up her cup of tea,she looked over at her sister. Roisin set her cup on the coffee table as she said,"Well we don't have anything else do we? It's better than no help at all."

"I suppose. Just wish we had someone better to rely on."
