MATH ALIVE
You gave me light
You gave me hope
You made me learn
This one important lesson
In every addition
There's also subtraction
In every multiplication
There is division
My daily life became easier
When you suddenly came and entered
Every additions and subtractions
Helped living turn to appreciation
You helped me compute quickly
How much I have to pay daily
You helped me predict easily
How much I'll save monthly
Moment of truth came
When I thought math was this easy
But I realized I was so lame
When everything has changed oh so quickly
Math was easy
Until one, two, three
Was replaced and added with
A, b, c
Finding x
I hate the most
Of all the letters in the alphabet
Why this?
Solve here, solve there
Equate this, retain this
Balance here, balance that
It was tiring yet fun
All in all
Math is helpful
In every branch of science
In every branch of anything
Since math is everywhere
