I woke up, trying to make my eyes adjust to my surroundings. I quickly realized that I didn't recognize my surroundings. I furrowed my eyes around and looked around what was a bedroom. I rolled over on my back and then I froze as I saw a body laying next to me on the bed.
Whoever it was, he had on a black t-shirt and sweatpants. I leaned up carefully on the bed not to shake it enough to wake him up. I leaned up until I realized that it was... David?
Oh no. What happened last night?
I fell back down onto the bed and ran my fingers through my hair. I have never been in this situation before.
Honestly, I never even pictured myself here before.
I look down and realize that I am fully clothed and of course, he was. So, maybe nothing happened? I wasn't that drunk... or at least I thought I wasn't.
I was about to get up when David rolled over and looked up at me with those big, brown eyes. "Good morning," he mumbled in a raspy voice.
"Good morning.." I said, still confused. "How did we end up here?" I asked him.
"You fell asleep on the couch so I brought you in here because I thought it would be more comfortable." He said.
"That's sweet," I said with a smile. I don't think anything happened more than that, so I left it at that. "Where's Gabbie?"
"On the couch," he said, giggling, which made me giggle.
"Oh, I see," I said. "She wasn't good enough for the David Dobrik's bed."
"Oh yeah," he said, going along with it. "Only the best are allowed here."
I laughed until I realized that that meant he thought I was the best. No, I'm sure he meant nothing by it. I'm probably reading too far into it the way that I always do.
"Do you want some breakfast?" He asked me, bringing me out of my little thought bubble I was in.
"Sure!" I said, smiling.
We got up and went into the kitchen and David started making coffee and waffles. "How do you take your coffee?" He asked.
"Just a little milk," I said, pulling out my phone. "Woah!" I said, looking at the many, many Instagram notifications I had.
"What is it?" He asked.
"'My instagram! I have like thousands of new followers." I said.
"It's probably the picture I tagged you in," He explained while pouring some coffee.
Picture? I went to David's page and there was the picture we took last night. The caption read, "My new friend 😸 go check out my new vid in my bio!! (It features @carlie_chase so go check out her page 😉)
"Yeah, this definitely explains it." I said, looking over my many new followers.
He doesn't reply and he sets down a mug of coffee in front of me. I thank him and he continues to prepare the waffles when I go to David's new YouTube video. Of course it's a vlog!
The title read: SPIN THE BOTTLE!!
Of course.
Then I see the thumbnail is David & I kissing! My heart begins to race as I am about to start the video. Suddenly, waffles were placed in front of me. "Thank you, David. You're the best!" I say eyeing the fluffy waffles.
"Of course," He said with a smile.
I smiled and looked back down to my phone to watch the video. The video started off with some other things David done through the day and then, we were at the party. David was walking around talking to everyone and making jokes, and then it suddenly showed me.
