Gabbie and I arrived at David's apartment at around three in the afternoon a few days later. David invited us to hang out with the rest of the guys for a while.
"Gabbieeeeee! Carlieeeee!" Heath yelled as we walked in the apartment.
"Heath!" Me and Gabbie yelled in sync back to him before giving him a hug. I still felt a little uncomfortable, I did only just meet these guys like a week ago, but I feel more comfortable with these guys than I've ever felt with any guy before.
Guys have always given me anxiety. I've had close guy friends, and boyfriends, but I've just always been so insecure that I always think about how they look at me. Every move I make I think about what they must think about it. A lot of the reason behind that is because of Ryan. He was the type of person to point out every little thing that you do wrong and pick at your insecurities. But for some reason I stayed with him.
It's harder to see how bad someone is for you when you are clouded by the feelings you have for what you wish they could be.
"Hey guys!" David said as he came up with his vlog camera.
"Hey, Dav," Gabbie said as I smiled up to him with a wave.
"I need like two more minutes of content. Do you guys wanna do something?" He asked.
Gabbie and I looked at each other and then I turned to David and nodded with a smile.
"Target?" He said, raising his eyebrows.
Gabbie smiled and started jumping up and down and yelling, "Target Edition!" over and over. I just smiled over at David.
We go in David's Tesla and I am blown away by how nice it is. David hands me his vlog camera and tells me to film him driving and Gabbie if she does anything "stupid" as he said. He got a punch on the shoulder for that.
We get to target and David takes his camera back and we head inside. As we go in Gabbie was really excited, so I snapchatted her as she kept dancing and singing, "it's the target edition" over and over. I just laughed at her and posted it to my story.
We go in and start walking around and looking at different things and just acting the way kids do in Target.
"Gabbie, here," he said, handing his camera over to her.
"Okay, guys," David said, speaking to the camera as he stood in front of the container of rubber balls, "Carlie and I are about to take these balls and see how many we can get in a piece in 60 seconds."
I come into frame holding a ball and say, "We are?"
David looks down at me and says, "Yes, we are. Now let's pose for the thumbnail," He said. "I have an idea."
"What's your-" I start to say, but before I can finish my thought, David is picking me up bridal style, which makes me scream on instinct.
He starts laughing and says, "Stopppp."
I just start laughing and look over to him and it honestly made my heart melt at how cute his smile was. This kid seriously has the best smile.
"What am I suppose to do?" I finally ask.
"Look at the camera and act scared. Like I'm about to try and throw you in the ball pit." He said.
"Oh okay," I said, with a laugh and then done what he said.
"Cute," Gabbie said with a smile.
David placed me back on the ground. "Alright, now let's play."
Gabbie yelled go and started her timer on her phone as we began to throw the balls. I was actually making a few in surprisingly. We had to stand behind a certain tile to make it harder. I was counting how many I had and when Gabbie yelled to stop, I had 32.
