A/N: sorry that it's been a while guys! I had finals and they took up a lot of my time for the past two weeks!
_______________________________"About last night..." I said, looking down at the floor as Heath sat on the bed.
He scratched the back of his neck for a moment and mumbled something before he looked up to me and said suddenly, "I like you."
I felt the shock on my face, but I just couldn't hide it. "What?" I said.
He stood up and walked closer to me. "I like you, Carlie. I really like you."
For the second time tonight, I was dumbfounded. I didn't know what to say. I just avoided his eyes, trying to process what was happening. He tilted my chin to look up at him and he kissed me. It was soft, tender, and sweet. He pulled away after a few seconds before he said, "I just needed you to know, even if you don't feel the same.."
I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out. Finally, I said, "Heath, you're a great friend.."
He grimaced and pulled away from me. "It's okay if you don't like me, but just tell me straight up. No bullshit. How do you feel?"
I gulped before saying, "I don't know how I feel."
He nodded, taking that in to account. "Well, let me know when you do." He said, before walking out of what just so happened to be David's room.
As Heath left, David walked in. He furrowed his eyebrows and pointed to the direction that Heath was headed. "What's up with him?" He said.
"It's nothing," I said, waving a hand.
He looked at me suspiciously. "Is.. something going on between you guys?"
This is it, Carlie. Are you going to lie or tell David the truth?
"Oh, no. We're just friends." I said, smiling at him.
He looked.. relieved? But I wasn't sure why he would. "So, what are you doing back here?" I asked.
"My room," He said, like it was obvious.
I laughed and said, "Right, duh." Before face palming.
He pulled out his vlog camera. Then he said, "Awe, Carlie, it's okay. We all know that you're a blonde, we understand."
I faked shock, like I was hurt. "How dare you, David? This friendship," I said gesturing to me and him, "is over!" Then, I stomped out of his room.
"Bye!" He said, laughing and shutting the door.
I giggled and the door opened again. "That was just for the vlog." He said, smirking at me. "Or was it?"
I smirked back up at him. "You better watch it, Dobrik."
He grinned down at me and my heart felt full.
We went back to where everyone else was and I made eye contact with Heath, which was awkward yet again. Possibly more awkward than before. Ugh.
We all socialized and drank for a while more when an idea hit me. "Dave!" I said, yelling and jumping up and down beside him.
"What?" He said laughing at me.
"I just thought of something great!" I said.
"What?" He said again.
"So, you know we made that video for your second channel? What if we done like a weekly Snapchat called Dancing With David?" I said, excitement ringing in my voice.
