chapter twenty-three;

My hands were shaking I was so excited about this concert. David just kept smiling at me because he knew he had made me happy.

The show started and everyone was dancing and singing along. Snapchat definitely was tired of us by the end of the night. It was seriously probably the best night that I've ever had.

"Are you mineeeeee?!" I sang/screamed as I leaned against Scotty and Toddy as they sang along.

David got me another drink, I had already had two, and I put it up in the air and yelled "cheers!" And everyone yelled it back to me, making me laugh like it was the funniest thing that I've ever heard.

I leaned my head back and my vision was blurry, but I felt that I had leaned back into someone. I saw a black T-shirt and I assumed it was David until I turned around and realized it was Heath.

I pulled away nonchalantly and continued to dance around until I made my way back to David.

He leaned down and kissed my neck, slightly intoxicated himself. "You're so fucking gorgeous," he mumbled into my ear.

I smirked up at him and I said, "I'm ready for that hotel room."

He smirked down at me before grabbing my face and kissing me passionately. His hands roamed my body and mine roamed his.

"Get a room!" I heard Scotty yell. "Too much Darlie!"

I pulled away with furrowed eyebrows to look at Scott. "What the hell is Darlie?"

"Your couple name," Scott explained. "It was that or Cavid."

"Yeah, Darlie is better." David said, chuckling.

"Barely," I said, rolling my eyes, but laughing along with them.

Before we knew it, the concert was over. "I can't believe it's already over," I pouted.

"I know," Kristen said, joining me in my pout.

David came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Now the real fun begins."

His voice sent shivers down my spine. Honestly, I was ready for tonight. We were finally going to be alone and uninterrupted.

David leaned down and kissed me as we walked back towards our hotel as everyone else chatted amongst us. He pulled away and said, "I bought you a little something that's in our hotel room. Why don't you go ahead and go up and get ready and I'll meet up with you in about fifteen?"

I pouted and said, "Where are you going?"

"Don't worry about it," he said, smirking. I knew something was up when he had that look in his eye.

"David..." I said, almost sounding like his mom.

He rolled his eyes with a smile. "It's nothing bad, I promise."

"Fine," I said. "Give me our room key."

He smiled sheepishly as he handed me the key. I smiled back and he pecked my lips before wandering off to do whatever it is that he has planned.

I head up to our room, sneaking away from our friends. I go in to find a neatly wrapped gift on the bed. I smile and go over to it, unwrapping it eagerly. I open the box to discover white lingerie. My face slightly turns red from my insecurities, but I smile anyways. David is seriously the best and I cannot wait to spend this night with him.
