David is the cutest human I know. He opens his Tesla door open for me and I say. "Thank you, Dav."

He replies, "You're welcome, Car."

He comes around to the drivers side and gets in. He turns the radio on and we're off to get sushi. I kept seeing him look over at me from the corner of my eye, so I finally turn to him and say, "what?"

He smiles as he looks at me. He then takes my hand in his. He says, "You look beautiful," before kissing my hand.

I felt myself blush and I couldn't stop the smile from forming on my lips. "You don't look too bad yourself," I said.

"Thank you, baby," He said and I swear I had heart attack right there.

The drive was short and we arrived at the restaurant. He comes and opens the door for me and we head inside.

We sit down and someone comes and takes our order. After she leaves, I smile at David. "What?" He said.

"I'm just happy." I said, stating it simply.

"You think you're happy now, wait until you see what your surprise is." He said, raising his eyebrows.

"What is it?" I asked.

He shrugged and said "I don't know," as he took a sip of his drink.

I gave him a look and kicked him under the table, which made him laugh. "I think you're gonna love it, don't worry." He says.

"Stop teasing me if you're not gonna tell me." I said.

He raised his eyebrows and smirked, which just made me roll my eyes. I took out my phone and said, "smile."

He closed his eyes and smiled the way he always does as I took his picture for Snapchat. I captioned it "d8".

He then took a photo of me for his story as well and he captioned it "gorgeous", making me smile.

We got our food and had a really good time. We laughed about stupid stuff, and we just talked. Like we really talked. We always do, but it felt different now. And sometimes you can get caught up in the camera and the vlogs and forget to actually just have a conversation.

"So, how are you and your sister doing?" He asked.

He was referring to our dad. "Jessie is doing her own thing. She's trying to figure out if she can make the move to LA. She's kind of scared to leave, but at the same time she is so ready to go. It's hard for her to stay in our childhood home alone."

"That's understandable," He said, nodding.

I nodded as well and continued. "Yeah, but see one good thing is that house is already paid for. So, she's not paying anything to be there. While if she moved here, she would paying rent every month. So, she's just scared. But I'm trying to convince her to just take that leap because she's a really good singer and I think she should pursue that."

He nodded and said, "No better place than LA."

"That's what I was thinking," I said. "So I hope she comes. It would be like when we were younger with Gabbie. I think it would be really fun."

"Maybe she'll come around," he said. "I know it would make you feel better if she was here."

I nodded and suddenly my heart felt weird. I felt this weight on my chest that just comes with anxiety. I suddenly felt weirdly sad because of my dad but also happy because David has just been so supportive. He just has my back.
