Obi-Wan and Ahsoka finally made it back to the where they left the ship, but what they saw was an empty space where the ship used to be. "The ship's gone," Ahsoka stated. "Yes, I see that," Obi-Wan sighed. "It was here no question," she added. "And look... everything's dying." Suddenly, a whoosh sound came from behind them and they turned around abruptly. "Did you lose something?" said a dark figure. Ahsoka instantly drew one of her lightsabers. "You didn't do as you were asked." the dark figure whispered. "And what was that?" Obi-Wan questioned. "My sister said to wait." "Did she, now? Well, we were unfortunately separated. We'd like our ship back, if you don't mind." "Not... yet. Is it true that he is the Chosen One?" Now Ahsoka drew her second lightsaber and Obi-Wan drew his. "What do you know of such things?" Obi-Wan's said, as his eyes grew darker. "What is about to happen shall occur whether you like it or not." the dark figure growled as he waved his hand and their lightsabers disengaged.
Ahsoka and Obi-Wan were shocked before Obi-Wan finally said, "You are Sith." The dark figure chuckled, "Sith? Yes... and no. The storms here are quite lethal. If you want to live, I suggest you find shelter." With that he turned and walked away only to leap into the air and turn into a bat-winged beast. "What in the universe was that?" Ahsoka asked. "I'm not quite sure," Obi-Wan answered. Their conversation was interrupted by a lightning bolt striking the ground near them. Obi-Wan spotted a cave not too far from where they were standing. "Quick. There's a cave over there." With that, the two Jedi ran into the cave unaware of the events that were about to take place.
Meanwhile, Rey and Anakin were racing to catch up to the Daughter and find shelter. They quickly dodged bolts of lightning and hid under some rocks, when suddenly, they saw a huge monastery in the distance. "Whoever we're looking for is in that monastery," Anakin said. Rey nodded in agreement. "Well then, shall we go?" she said already heading in the direction of the building.
They finally arrived at the building and raced up the stairs to see whoever they were supposed to meet. When they got inside they saw a man sitting in a meditative position in between a scale held up by two different animals. They slowly walked up to the man in case that it was a trap. They stood before him and saw that he didn't acknowledge them, so they sat in the same position as the man was sitting in. Then, he suddenly opened his eyes and said to Rey and Anakin, "Welcome, my friends." "What is it that you want from me?" Anakin asked. "To learn the truth about who you really are, one that maybe you have known all along, one you must believe in order to fulfill your destiny," the Father said calmly. "Enough with the riddles, old man. Tell me what's going on here," Anakin commanded.
Rey suddenly recalled the story Luke told her about his father and how he was a savior that was called the Chosen One. "You mean his destiny to be the Chosen One, right?" she asked. Anakin and the Father both looked at her curiously. Then the Father simply nodded his head in affirmation. "Whoa. Wait, wait. Back up. How do you know about the Legend of the Chosen One?" Anakin asked. Rey instantly regretted saying anything. The Father, sensing that there are some things that the Force wants her to keep secret until a later date, covered for her and said, "As you can see, there is nowhere else to go. It is late. You will be my guests tonight."
Then he led them to their rooms.
Back at the cave, Obi-Wan keeps sensing a familiar presence among he and Ahsoka. Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice say, "Obi-Wan, have you done as I asked? Have you trained the boy?" Obi-Wan turned to where the voice originated and saw the Force ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn. "Master Qui-Gon, how are you here?" he said igniting his lightsaber. "I am here because you are here." Qui-Gon said walking up to Obi-Wan, who was slowly backing away from him. "No, I don't understand. What is this place?" Obi-Wan questioned. "Unlike any other, a conduit through which the entire Force of the universe flows," Qui-Gon answered.
