The clones, Ahsoka, Rey, and Obi-Wan we're preparing to go off on the rescue mission, while Anakin told Artoo to guard the the shuttle. As Rey and Obi-Wan and Ahsoka led the clones out of the cave and towards the citadel Anakin said to Artoo, "We'll contact you when we're ready for takeoff." Then he went to catch up with the others.
They were walking along the cliff's edge trying to make their way to the citadel. Anakin motioned for them to stop as he crouched down and took out a pair of cybernetic binoculars to scope out the citadel for any sign of their entry point. "I see the point," Anakin told the rescue squad. "You were right. The wind conditions are too strong for jetpacks," Cody sighed. "Yes, we'll have to do it the old-fashioned way, with ascension cables and a steel grip," Obi-Wan grumbled. "I don't think so," Anakin countered. "What do you mean?" Obi-Wan and Rey said in unison. "Electro-mines. There's nowhere to put a grappling hook at that height. And we hit one of those, the mission's over. They'll know we're here," Anakin said handing the binoculars to Obi-Wan. "Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd rather the Separatists find out we're here later on after we've rescued Master Piell and gotten off this rock rather than before," Rey sighed. "Your not the only one, Rey," Ahsoka agreed. "I suppose that means we free-climb it," Rex stated. "Unfortunately, yes," Obi-Wan sighed. With that, the rescue team got up and started moving again.

They were about halfway up the cliff being careful to avoid the electro-mines that were crackling near them in every direction. "You hanging in there, Snips?" Anakin shouted to Ahsoka who was directly below him. "Couldn't be better. I could do without the wind, though," Ahsoka shouted over howling wind. Anakin looked above him to Rey climbing. "Rey, how's it going up there?" Anakin yelled. Rey looked down and smiled at him. "Well, I'm obviously doing well if I am above you." "Is that a challenge, Milady?" Anakin asked playfully. "Damn straight. Race you!" Rey shouted. Anakin simply mocked a gasp. "No fair. You're already ahead of me," Anakin shouted back.
"The entry point is just a few more meters," Obi-Wan said to Rey. "What'd he say, Rey?" Anakin shouted. "He said the entry point is just a few more meters," Rey shouted at Anakin. "Hallelujah!" Anakin exclaimed happily. Obi-Wan continued climbing until he was hanging off the edge of the entry point's platform. He lifted his head to see destroyers and rollies walking toward the entry point and he quickly ducked down before they could see him and warned the others to remain silent. When the droids saw no sign of the Jedi or the clones they walked back inside and locked the door with a ray-shield. "They locked the door. It's ray-shielded," Obi-Wan sighed loudly. Rey growled in frustration. "Well, that's just great," she yelled. "What happened?" Anakin asked. "The droids locked the door with a damn ray-shield," Rey explained. "It's ray-shielded? That wasn't the plan," Anakin said. "Well, it's in the plan now," Rey stated matter-of-factly.
Ahsoka was still climbing and she spotted another opening on the far side of the entry point. "There's an opening up there," Ahsoka told the others, while pointing to what she was talking about. "We know. They're ventilation ducts. But they're far too small for us to gain access,"Anakin sighed. "Too small for you, but not for me and Rey," Ahsoka corrected. "She's right, Anakin. And unless you suddenly develop an hourglass figure or think of a new plan, we're screwed!" Rey added. "Well, we hadn't planned on Ahsoka being here. And not to mention that even if Rey thought up the same back up plan and did manage to get through the ventilation ducts and unlocked the door, she wouldn't have anyone to guard her back in case droids were approaching her position, because none of us could fit through the vent shafts," Obi-Wan chimed in.
"Come on, Rey," Ahsoka said. "Don't worry, I'm not about to let you have all the fun," Rey chuckled. "What about our race?" Anakin asked. "I'll make it up to you. Promise," Rey said finally before climbing to catch up with Ahsoka. Anakin watched as Rey climbed up the cliff like a cat. He watched her until she disappeared into the ventilation ducts. "Anakin, now is not the time to be making goo-goo eyes at your crush," Obi-Wan shouted over the wind. Anakin glared daggers at him. "I was watching to make sure she didn't slip," Anakin argued. Obi-Wan smirked. "Mm-hmm," Obi-Wan mumbled to himself.
