Stranded! Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, his padawan, Ahsoka, and a girl named Rey are caught in the middle of a treacherous battle between good and evil. The scales now tipped towards the dark side, three of our heroes must guard against attack as they plan their escape. A great weight has been placed on Anakin's shoulders, for it is now that he must face the truth Rey told about who he is. However, will he be able to set his conflicting feelings over protecting the galaxy? Only time will tell.

Anakin and Obi-Wan were sitting on the ramp of the ship keeping a lookout for the Son and Rey, when Obi-Wan said, "I'm getting a little tired of how unreliable the weather is here." Anakin snickered, "Some might say that's part of the appeal." "You did well, Anakin. How do feel?" Obi-Wan asked. "I'm not sure we're doing the right thing by leaving. The Son is consumed by the dark side," Anakin sighed. "And if we stay, we may be used to the dark side's advantage," Obi-Wan countered. They were silent for a time until Obi-Wan said, "At what point of our little adventure here did you realize you were falling for Rey?" Anakin's head, which was once lowered, shot up looking at his old master with surprise. Obi-Wan rolled his eyes and smirked, "Don't look so surprised. We all heard the Daughter call you out." "Yeah. I wish she hadn't," Anakin mumbled.

"I can see why you would fall for her. She's reckless, like you. Arrogant, like you. Impatient, like you. Stubborn, like you. Emotional, like you. Flirtatious, like you. She's practically the futuristic, female version of you," Obi-Wan chuckled. "Flirtatious? No. Not Rey. She's been any and everything but. I think you're finally going senile, old man," Anakin laughed. "You wish, my old apprentice. Besides, the only reason I look old is because you were a troublesome boy who only wanted to eat, drink, sleep, and party," Obi-Wan shot back. Anakin looked apalled, "You still remember that?" Obi-Wan nodded in affirmation, "Yes, I do. However, that isn't the point. The point is that if you truly care about her, then fight for her. Right now, the Son is probably doing God-knows-what to her. You need to save her before what happened to Ahsoka happens to her."

"Aren't you the one that was just saying that we need to get out of here, to hell with everything else?" Anakin asked. "Yes, but I can also see how worried you are," Obi-Wan sighed. "By the way, she cares for you, too. I could tell by the way she looks at you, and she wasn't exactly subtly when she tried to protect you in the arena."

Then Ahsoka came from inside the ship and said, "Well, you want the bad news... or the really bad news?" "Well, let's try the bad news, laced with a little optimism," Obi-Wan suggested. "We've got two cracked shilo pins, a busted power converter, the engine should be fired twice to dump debris, and the backup vents need charging," Ahsoka sighed. Obi-Wan grimaced, "Sounds terribly down beat. To put it in Anakin speak, we're screwed." Ahsoka smirked and went back to fixing the ship.

"Can it be fixed?" Obi-Wan asked. "Uh, I can reroute the primary initiator, weld the dampening vents, and that might give us enough power to leave the atmosphere. After that, I have no guarantee she'll hold together," Ahsoka sighed. "We'll take our chances-- better than staying here," Obi-Wan replied. He went back outside to keep watch and noticed that Anakin was coming out of the ship with a speeder bike. "Where are you going?" Obi-Wan asked. "To see the Father. I'm not convinced that the Son will be contained here without our help. Perhaps we should make a stand," Anakin answered. "Are you sure that this doesn't have anything to do with saving a certain nineteen-year-old girl from the future?" Obi-Wan asked curiously.

"No. I mean, yes. I mean, she's part of the reason, but I also want to stop the Son," Anakin sighed. "Anakin--" Obi-Wan started. "If I don't get the Father's blessing to leave... it'll haunt me forever," Anakin said getting on the speeder bike and racing towards the Father's monastery.

The Father had decided to carry his daughter back to his monastery despite her protests. "Forgive me, Daughter. I am an old fool who believed he could control the future. Now you are injured and unable to fight this battle without killing yourself... and all is lost. Rest, my child. You have done all you can," the Father told her as he laid her on a bed. "Father, I am alright, really," the Daughter sighed. "No. I will not allow you to go out there again only to lose you for good. Stay here. Please," the Father begged. The Daughter said nothing, but nodded in agreement. The Father took out the dagger that almost ended her life and placed it in her hands. Then the Father left the room and walked the halls of the monastery. He sensed Anakin standing behind him and said, "You should have left by now." "Our ship needs repairs," Anakin replied.
