When the trio made their way back to the group that came with them, a pilot approached them and said, "General, uh, that was really beautiful what you said about General Organa, sir." "To me, she was always Princess Leia," Poe replied. "Also, the higher ups want to know if you want to bury the body, before we head back to Lothal?" the pilot continued. Poe nodded in agreement with that.
On their way back to the Resistance base, Poe was silent. Poe sat in main room of the ship staring at the floor. "Rose, can you take over?" Finn asked. Finn walked out of the cockpit and into the main room. He took a seat right next to Poe. "Hey," Finn said. "Hey," Poe replied. "How are you doing?" Finn asked. The minute the words left his mouth, Finn mentally slapped himself. How did he think Poe felt, happy?
"Sorry, that was a dumb question," Finn stammered. "It's cool, Finn. But to answer your question: I have been better," Poe laughed. "I'm sorry, man. I truly am," Finn consoled. They both embraced each other in a bro hug. "Thanks," Poe exhaled. Poe semi-subconsciously leaned in and buried his head in the crook of Finn's neck, holding on to him even tighter. Finn was surprised at first, but rested his head against Poe's. They broke away when they heard Rose clear her throat. Both men turned to see her smiling at them.
"I just wanted to tell you that we've reached hyperspace," Rose announced. "Thanks, Rose," Finn said through his gritted teeth. Rose nodded and backed away to the cockpit. "As you were," she bowed as the blast door of the cockpit closed in front of her.
Finn and Poe were once again left alone with only each other. Finn wrapped an arm around Poe and pulled him closer. They stayed that way the whole way back to the Resistance base on Lothal.

Poe, Finn, and Rose were exiting the Falcon and saw Kylo Ren standing before them. "Holy shit! Ren, stop doing that," Poe gasped in surprise. "What are you doing at our base?" Rose asked. "Slight change of plan. We're leaving now," Ren told them. "But we don't know where we're going or what to bring," Finn reasoned. "You don't need to go anywhere, because the entrance to the Time Realm is here on this planet. Second, you don't need to bring anything," a voice said from a distance. They all turned to see a female togruta in a white cloak with a silver staff. "Who are you?" Poe asked.
"My name is Ahsoka Tano," the togruta said.
