Chapter 10

*A few months later*

Harry and Ron's dorm had been attacked. Sirius Black had gotten in somehow and scratched the side of the curtains on the bed.

I was really worried about them. One day, I snuck into the Gryffindor common room; Harry had given me the password.

I walked up to Harry's dorm to see if he was awake. I wanted to talk to him.

I knocked on the door.

"Harry?" I said.

The door opened and Harry appeared, his hair totally messed up.

"What... oh, hi, Y/n," he said. "What's up?"

"Oh, Harry, I just wanted to talk," I said, moving my H/c hair out of my face.

He nodded and let me in. I sat down on his bed and he sat next to me. Ron woke up when I walked in and sat up, looking at us.

"I'm really worried about your safety, you two. You have to promise you'll be as safe as ever, ok?" I said, waving a finger.

"We hear you, Y/n," Ron said.

I nodded. "Good."

"Now, Harry, I have to ask you something. Have you been getting into a lot of fights or arguments with Malfoy lately?" I asked, tilting my head.

"Not for a while, actually," he said, shrugging.

"Ok, so I was right..." I stood up and began pacing.

"About what?" Ron asked.

"Oh, you know when Dra-... Malfoy pushed me in Hogsmeade?" I said to Ron.

"Yeah...?" They replied together.

"Well, ever since that, he's been totally ignoring me, Harry, and Ron! He usually goes out of his way to humiliate us, why would he have stopped?" I explained.

"Because he likes you, that's why!" Ron added.

I stopped pacing and slowly turned around. "What?"

"I heard that pug-faced Pansy whining about it in the halls, saying, 'Oh my god, Dracy-poo hates me! He is in love with that Potter Girl! I have to do something about it! If I don't, he will totally fall for her fake beauty!', and Crabbe and Goyle were surprisingly teasing Malfoy about having a girlfriend! Saying stuff like, 'Draco Malfoy, Slytherin Prince, falling for Potter! He's got himself a girlfriend, can you believe it?', it's stupid really!" Ron told me, shrugging.

My face went pale. "Awwwwww crap."

"Yeah, this is gonna be bad..." Harry mumbled.

I sighed and sat back down next to Harry.

"What should I do?" I asked, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"I don't honestly know. You can't talk to him about it... or anything else really... maybe write him a note?" Harry suggested.

"Harry, the brilliant! Thank you so much!" I got up and hugged him.

Harry looked confused.

"I'll explain later!"

I walked over and hugged Ron, then I walked out of the dorm.

As I walked out of the common room, I got a lot of stares. Everyone knew I was a Slytherin.
