You walked out to the Great Hall. You looked around to see Slytherin banners hanging from the walls. The Slytherin table was screaming and clapping.

You sat next to Malfoy and Millicent. You began eating as Professor Dumbledore continued his announcement.

"Great job to Slytherin, but due to recent events, there have been points added to a certain house!" he shouted. "To Miss Y/n Potter, 10 points, for being one of the best friends and sisters I've ever seen."

The Slytherin table cheered for you and you blushed.

"To Miss Hermione Granger, 50 points, for the amazing intelligence she had."

You and the Gryffindor table cheered.

"To Mr Ronald Weasley, 50 points, for Hogwarts' greatest game of Wizards Chess!"

You cheered louder with Gryffindor.

"To Mr Harry Potter, 60 points, for his amazing act of bravery."

You cheered even louder for your twin.

"That makes us tied with Gryffindor!" Millicent whispered to you.

You nodded.

"And last but not least, I award 20 points to Mr Neville Longbottom for his act of bravery. It takes a lot to stand up against your friends."

You stood up, clapping and cheering for Gryffindor.

"Whoooooo!! Go Gryffindor!" you shouted.

"Ugh, can you stop? You're not showing a lot of house pride," Malfoy said to you.

You rolled your eyes and kept cheering.

"So this calls for a change of decoration!" Dumbledore clapped and the silver and green banners became red and gold. You looked up at the lion. You liked it a lot better than the snake.

After a while, you found yourself back on the Hogwarts Express.

You flattened out your maroon skirt. You were headed back to the Dursleys. Great.

*Two months later*

"Happy birthday, Harry!" you said as you handed him a locket Hermione had told you to give him. Inside, it had a picture of the two of you, then of Hermione and Ron.

He smiled. "Thank you so much, Y/n!" He hugged you.

You hugged him back and you looked up at him.

Harry laughed and handed you a small bag. "It's not much, so I hope you like it!"

You pulled out a small ring with a(n) F/c (Favorite colour) F/a (Favorite animal).

"Harry, I love it!" You put it on and hugged him again.

And then you two went downstairs and started your daily chores.

(I'm gonna start doing the first person pov because its easier for me. edit; i'm so sorry this switched in the middle of a chapter)

I walked back upstairs as Harry followed me.

"Harry, why do they always do these things? Ugh, I hate the fact that we can't even be seen anymore!" I ranted.

Harry shrugged. "I don't honestly know."

I sighed and walked into our room. I then saw an odd creature sitting on my bed.

"H-Harry... why is there a house-elf on my bed?!" I asked him.

"I'm here to give you a warning. Harry and Y/n Potter must not go to Hogwarts!" he said.

"Why not?" Harry asked.

"Something bad will happen at Hogwarts this year."

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

The house-elf began to hit his head on the wall repeatedly. "I-I'm afraid I mustn't say any more!"

"Wait! At least tell us your name!" Harry said.

"M-my name is Dobby the house elf!"

We nodded.

Dobby then apparated downstairs. We ran down there and saw him levitating a cake over the guest's head.

"Dobby! Don't do it!" Harry whispered.

Dobby snapped his fingers and the cake fell on top of the woman's head. I giggled.

"What the devil was that?" Uncle Vernon said through gritted teeth. Dobby disappeared before anyone else saw him and we starred at the splattered cake on top of the guest's head.

Just as Uncle Vernon was about to say something else, two large barn owls swooped into the house. They both dropped letters into our open hands. I looked at Harry with fear in my eyes.

We slowly opened the letters and read them.

Dear Miss Potter,

We have received intelligence that a hover charm was used at your place of residence this evening at twelve minutes past nine.

As you know, underage wizards are not permitted to perform spells outside school, and further spellwork on your part may lead to expulsion from said school (Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery, 1875, Paragraph C).

We would also ask you to remember that any magical activity that risks notice by members of the non-magical community (Muggles) is a serious offence under section 13 of the International Confederation of Warlocks' Statute of Secrecy.

Enjoy your holidays!

Yours sincerely,

Harry and I gulped.

Uncle Vernon dragged us upstairs and put bars over our window.

"We're stuck in here, Harry!" I said to him. He nodded.

*Three days later*

It was dark, but as I looked out the window, I saw two brights light in the distance. They were speeding up quickly, and I soon realized it was a car.

The car pulled up and I saw Ron, Fred, and George peaking through the bars.

"Ron?" I sat up.

"Guys, it's the right house!" Ron said excitedly. Fred and George looked at me.

They started to pry the bars off of the windows with the car. While they were doing that, Harry and I packed our stuff for Hogwarts and we got our pets. Hedwig screeched and Shadow, my black cat, meowed loudly.

We climbed into the car, putting our trunks in the back. Uncle Vernon then stormed into our room to see what all the commotion was and saw us escaping.

"NO!!!!" he screamed, dashing to the window, only to fall over the railing into the bushes below.

I laughed. "Thank you guys so much!" I said happily.

We flew to the Burrow and tried to sneak upstairs. Molly Weasley found us and we got in trouble, but hey, at least we were out of the Dursleys.
