Chapter 32

(Draco's PoV)

I sat down next to Y/n in the Great Hall.

I noticed that Pugface was smirking at us when suddenly Y/n was falling off of the seat.

"Y/n!"

I picked her up quickly and carried her to the Hospital Wing. Potter, Weasley, Granger, and Star followed close behind.

"Mr Malfoy, what happened?" Madam Pomfrey asked, walking away from another bed.

"I don't know, Ma'am," I said. "All I know is that she took a sip from her goblet at dinner and collapsed from her seat."

I put Y/n on a bed and Madam Pomfrey walked to her.

"Hm... Mr Malfoy, get Professor Slughorn and Professor Snape, tell them to come to the Hospital Wing," the nurse said with a look of worry. "Miss Potter has been poisoned."

I ran to the dungeons to get Slughorn. He began the walk back to the Hospital Wing while I got Snape.

"What do you need, Malfoy?" Snape asked.

"Sir, Potter's been poisoned, Madam Pomfrey asked me to come and retrieve you."

"Thank you," Snape said, walking with me.

We arrived at the Hospital Wing around the same time Slughorn did.

"Well finally, you two!" Madam Pomfrey said.

"What's happened, Poppy?" Slughorn said, glancing at Y/n.

"Miss Potter has been poisoned," the nurse said, "and I need one of you to brew a potion to undo it or something."

Granger, Potter, and Weasley were all behind me, looking worried.

"Of course -" Slughorn began.

"I will brew the correct potion," Snape interrupted. "Horace, would you get a bezoar?"

The two teachers rushed from the Hospital Wing, only to arrive again in a few minutes.

"Give her this," Snape said coldly.

Slughorn gave Madam Pomfrey a vial of teal liquid.

She poured it into Y/n's open mouth, and she began stirring.

"Y/n!" Granger said, pushing in front of me.

"Huh? What... what happened?" she said, sitting up and rubbing her head.

"You were poisoned!" Weasley exclaimed.

"I give Ron ten galleons if it wasn't Parkinson who did it," Potter added.

"It's because she doesn't want Y/n anywhere near Malfoy!" Granger said.

"Why would she be with him anyway?" Weasley asked.

"Um... well, meet me in the common room later tonight, I'll tell you," Granger said nervously.

Weasley and Potter looked confused. I sighed, thinking, 'They sure are dense.'

"You'd better bring Y/n with you," I whispered to her.

"Will do."

"Does any of you know how or who poisoned Miss Potter?" Slughorn asked.

"No, but we have a suspicion," Potter answered. "We think she was poisoned by Pansy Parkinson."

"Parkinson?" the professor repeated. "I'll have her in detention, that's for sure."
