I woke up with a soft hand stroking my hair. I looked up, startling Draco, and smiled.

"Bloody hell, Y/n, you scared me," he said with a chuckle. "You slept forever!" he added.

"How long?"

"Well, we came here at about sunrise, now it's past sunset, so I'd say about 12 hours. How sleep-deprived were you?"

I looked around at the deepening blue sky. "Uh... long story."

"We have time."

"Well, we at this cottage, yeah, and we had to do a bunch of planning and stuff. I got no sleep the night before we left to go rob Gringotts -"

"You robbed Gringotts?"

"Oh, yeah. Anyways, we robbed Gringotts and then flew here -"

"On what?"

"A dragon."

"Nice!"

I nodded. "And the battle began."

Draco nodded. "Hm."

"Star planned a lot of it," I added.

"I bet."

I smiled. "She is a great friend. And cat."

"Yeah."

"We should get up," I suggest, rolling into the grass off of Draco. "Bloop."

He laughed, then helped me up. I swayed a bit, unsurprisingly well-rested.

I stretched my arms over my head and yawned. Draco mimicked my actions.

"Are you tired?" I asked.

"Nah, I don't need that much sleep."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah."

We started walking back to the castle. Students, teachers, and even Order members stood around it, rebuilding the castle with their wands.

"I need to find Harry," I said, pulling Draco through the people. I spot Mrs Weasley and shout to her. "Mrs Weasley, do you know where Harry, Ron, and Hermione went?"

"They're back at the Burrow, dear!"

I gripped Draco's hand, Apparating to the Weasley home, the Burrow.

I knocked loudly on the door. Draco stood behind me, not sure where to go or what to do.

Ron answered the door, a smile on his face. "Y/n! You're here!"

Hermione, Ginny, and Luna rushed up behind him. "Y/n!"

Harry followed. "Y/n, finally!"

No one seemed to notice Draco. He stood there awkwardly while I got hugs.

(A/N: I can't imagine Draco being or doing anything awkward. Whoa, weird feeling.)

It wasn't until Harry noticed him that anything was said. "Y/n, you brought Malfoy with you?"

"Yes, I wasn't just going to leave him at Hogwarts, or with his parents."

"My parents happen to be wonderful people," Draco said calmly.

"Correction: Your mum is a wonderful person," I corrected.

He sighed. "Right again."

"So, Harry, are you going to Grimmauld Place?" I asked. "Technically, it is our house."

"Good point. I was actually thinking about staying here with Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna, Star, and, of course, you until we sorted everything out."

"Well, you guys might be a bit crowded, so Draco and I can go to Grimmauld Place," I said, shrugging. "Sounds good?"

Hesitated answers.

"I guess," said Ron.

"Well," I said, a bit unsure, "we'll be off, then."

I gripped Draco's hand once more and Disapparated from the Burrow to number twelve, Grimmauld Place.

"Where is it?" Draco asked.

I thought of the words scribbled on the paper and the buildings started moving. The building appeared in between.

"Don't the Muggles notice?" Draco asked as we walked in.

"Nope."

"What is this place?"

"Curious one, aren't you?" I said, smirking slightly. "This is," I paused, "was Sirius Black's home, The Black Household."

"Isn't he your Godfather or something?"

"No, he was Harry's Godfather. My Godfather is," I paused again, "was Remus Lupin."

Draco nodded. We walked throughout the halls, looking at the dusty floors and tables. With Kreacher being gone for a while, the house had become dusty and dirty.

We used our wands to clean up the house. There were many rooms and much to clean, but we got it.

"Now that everything is clean, we can actually get some peace and quiet," I said quietly.

"Agreed. There are a few bedrooms upstairs, you get your pick first."

Draco and I walked up the stairs, listening as they creaked and groaned with every step.

I looked at a room with green and silver Slytherin banners and bedsheets. "Draco," I called. "You can have this room if you'd like."

He looked around at it and nodded. "Sure."

I walked toward another bedroom, covered with a single Gryffindor banner yet many band posters.

I closed the door. I might not be a Gryffindor, but the scarlet and gold was a nice change from the silver and green.

A few weeks passed. It was the twentieth of July, only eleven days until my birthday.

Our days were pretty boring, spent reading or just talking. The quiet was calming and nice.

Harry finally came to Grimmauld Place, surprised at how clean everything was. I offered him the Gryffindor room, but he said that there were more rooms he could take.

For our birthdays, Harry and I got lots of candy from Ron, books and study guides from Hermione, and pranking supplies from George. Draco gave me a case with memories of us two.

We also had a funeral for Tonks, Lupin, and Fred. Of course, there were more deaths at the Battle of Hogwarts than just them, but their's hurt us the most.

Time seemed to pass quickly and soon it was time to go to Hogwarts again, so we all decided to go to Diagon Alley together.

We Apparated into the streets of Diagon Alley and started walking around the crowded stores. Weasley's Wizard Wheezes shop seemed to be booming, and every now and then I'd see a familiar red-head in one of the windows. A few people gave Draco a dirty look to which I angrily returned. We got our seventh-year books for Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Divination, Transfiguration, Charms, History of Magic, Care of Magical Creatures, and Astronomy.

We stopped by George's shop and said hi, then went back to Grimmauld Place.

Hogwarts was getting closer every day.
