Chapter 23

Chapter 23: All you need is love

*Amelia-Roses POV*

Ritchie sat down in the nearest chair holding his hands to his face.

"I don't know what to believe, you kissed my wife, I-I can't just forgive you."

"It's was an accident. It meant nothing." John tried convincing him.

"Why would I leave a loving husband and three young beautiful and precious children I have with you, for John. Why would I give it all up?" I cried.

"I'm not mad at you guys."

"You're not?" John and I both said shocked.

"I'm mad at myself for letting this all happen."

"None of this was your fault. If anything it was Pattie's." John said angry.

Ritchie looked up at John.

"She's the one who cheated on George and Amelia tried so hard to save their marriage that she got dragged into it." John explained.

"Eric wanted me to kiss him and do, who knows what else and I didn't, I escaped and don't you think if John tried to do the same I would've but it happened sudden and we both said it meant nothing. He has- his girlfriend and I have you, my husband who I wouldn't trade for the world."

It was silent.

"You cheated on me before- well you kissed another girl." I said to Ritchie

"What?" He said not remembering.

"Hamburg." John said. "I remember that he kissed some girl at a bar. Amelia forgave you."

"Yeah she did." Ritchie said looking down at the floor

"It was because I loved you with all my heart and I didn't want to lose you, I trust you, and I still don't want to lose you. Your kiss was a mistake and this kiss was a mistake."

Ritchie looked into my eyes, I could see forgiveness as he opened his arms wide pulling me into hug.

"What are we going to do about all this?" Ritchie asked.

"Well I assume George and Pattie are divorcing, she'll probably run to Eric who she admitted she kinda, loves. John will introduce his new girl after he finalizes his divorce and Ritchie and Amelia are going to live happy ever after with Luke, Jo and Ellee." I said.

"And maybe more in the future." Ritchie laughed.

"Maybe." I teased.

"We can work this all out in morning, it's getting late and we will have to explain everything to Paul and Linda so I guess a 'family meeting' needs to come to order." John said aloud.

"Where?" I asked.

"We could probably do it here." Ritchie offered.

"Sounds good." John said as he started walking out the door.

Next Morning: Starkey House

It was different having everyone over, it was awkward. Cynthia and John didn't sit together nor did they even bother to talk. Pattie and George were still a little pissed and then we had Paul and Lind who were all happy looking not having a clue what was going on.

I didn't know what was going to happen either, what were we going to say?  That is until Paul stood up and said

"I'm glad were all here together because I have some wonderful news."

We looked happy yet confused. Happy at the fact that there was finally some good news but confused at the fact that what could possible be the good news.
