SEQUEL: chapter 8

13 amazing grandchild. Ringo and I have 6 beautiful grandchildren that we share together. Lukas married and had three children a boy, a girl and a boy named Dylan, Kelsey and Nathan. Then Jo had a daughter just last year she named her Heather. Ellee had two boys whom she and her husband named after their fathers Richard and Ethan. Their always bringing the kids by and they always ask for stories especially Dylan, who is now 23, he's always asking for stories. Ironically he grew up to be a big Bob Dylan fan just like his father. Lukas looked up to Bob and Bob adored Lukas who I always brought him over to play with his son Jesse and the other kids. As Dylan made his way into the teens he started talking to me and Ritchie a lot about all the bands we used to hang out with as much as he loved Bob Dylan he was a huge Zeppelin fan and I would tell him stories of Robert Plant and I. Kelsey who is now 17 is a big fan of music as well but her taste is a little different. She loves the Beatles and she always has she talks to us about the Beatles as if Ritchie and I weren't apart of the experience. Unfortunately for Ritchie her favorite is George. But their is one band in Kels eyes that beats the Beatles and that was the who. When she was around 7 years old she discovered their music and it wasn't until I told her that "see the drummer?"

"Who him?" She pointed to a picture of keith.

"Yeah. Him and I used to be married."

"What?! No!" She said in disbelief.

"That's uncle keith and Frankie and aunt Luna's father."

Then she got a little older enough to truly comprehend. She asked

"How am I related to Keith Moon again?"

"You know Aunt Luna and Uncle Keith and Uncle Francis?"

"Yes."

"That's their father."

"So is Keith Moon my grandfather?"

"Ringo Starr is your grandfather."

"So aunt Luna, uncle Keith, and uncle Frankie are daddy's half sibling?"

"Yes."

"If he was alive would keith like me?"

"Of course he would."

"Would he consider me his granddaughter."

"I think he would respect that you are Ringo's granddaughter and he would love you like his own grandchildren."

She smiled. Keith was her favorite. Kelsey is a drummer and I think she's always found so much inspiration in Keith's drumming.

Keith and I share 7 grandchildren together. Seven beautiful human beings all sadly who he has never gotten to meet just like his own son.

Luna married famously a fellow rockstar and had 4 children with him. Three boys then the youngest a girl. In order she named them Dakota, Jayson, Logan then Georgia.

All aspiring drummers Georgia who is 7 is very close with Kelsey both obsessed over the Who and both inspired by Keith, she has the hardest time always talking to her mother about what keith was like and always calling me up and visiting me asking me to tell her stories of what her grandfather was like. The boys are all very curious about him too but Georgia is the spitting image of what Keith was so we all call her Mini Moon.

Francis married and had two children two girls who he named Marley and Lilah.

Then Keith who had the hardest out of all my children. My son who had to live with his birthdate being the anniversary of how many years his father has been gone for. He had one boy who he had the honor of naming Keith John III. My son keith went on to become a drummer but then again what surprise is that? My two husbands were drummers, all of my sons are drummers and half of my grandsons are aspiring drummers. They all honor Ringo and Keith in so many ways and I know how much they all hurt over Keith but me, I get to tell the best stories I have of me and him and that just lights up all the kids faces.
