*Amelia-Rose POV*

The Who was a great band full of great people. The Beatles were a great band full of great people. They were both great and so was Keith and Ritchie.

One thing you have to learn while married to a rockstar are they get girls, lots of girls. They FLING themselves at them whether that rockstar is taken or not. One thing you have to realize is this was the 1960s/70s they all did drugs and got drunk. One thing you have to realize is it isn't a perfect life.

When I was married to Keith- if you know anything about Keith Moon is that he was destructive. He took handfuls of pills and drank any alcoholic beverage he got his hands on. I was aware of this when I married him I wasn't blind to it. No one was. I know he got depressed. I know he would destroy hotel rooms and act like a 7 year old boy. I know.

But see that's the thing I've been in many many interviews and have been told by even Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle.

"Amelia you were a saint for putting up with him."

But I don't think anyone realizes who exactly I was. I loved getting drunk just as much as the next man. I took my fair share of drugs and Keith his behavior yes, completely reckless and we ALL knew that it was going to kill him if he kept it up.

But I loved him. I loved how funny he was, how crazy he was. That adorable laugh he gets. My favorite was when they were doing Who Are You I think it's now their official music video, anyways he was wearing a red shirt and he was standing next to a mic with John and Pete and Pete flung his hand at Keith and that smile-laugh he made. THAT that was the adorable Keith I will always remember.

No one said he wasn't violent because he was but I was smart you see being married to a rockstar before. You need to know when to not pick a fight, especially if they were drunk.

Keith was Moon the loon.

Ritchie, the man I knew before the game. He was Ritchie and then he was Ringo Starr, two different people.

You see rockstars aren't husbands. Even if they try to be they really aren't. They are constantly on the go and then when they come home it's hard for them pick up where they left off. I'm sorry for my children, both, that they didn't have normal dads but that was work and it was something their fathers loved to do.

When Ritchie was home he wasn't really home because the days at home were spent the next minute at a party or appearance. Then there was studio work. We all looked out for each other all the wives. Even later on I got to know the who wives as well. The thing is at these parties they used to throw ALL the wives were there. I mean name a rockstar..his wife was there, his girlfriend was there. It was just that lifestyle.

I could go on and on about a rockstars lifestyle but one thing I just have to get out is if you were famous and your dream was to be the best drummer and you were being that you need the adrenaline and then you get hooked, you turn into a rockstar with drugs and alcohol doesn't make you, it didn't make any of them bad people. Somewhere in the back of there heads they want a family but their career, the fans it all came pretty close to a #1 priory. Ritchie had to live up to the Beatles legacy and Keith had to be Moon the Loon and that meant drinking. He had to be funny. He feared if he wasn't drinking he would be no fun. He had to play the character every day of his life and that was chore. Everyone expected a show when he walked in the room and Keith, he didn't want to let anyone down. Ritchie, he just wanted to drum he wanted the Beatles to live on, the music he wanted it to keep going.
