A Day Out {Oz x Reader}

You woke to the sound of a loud crash and quickly ran out to the kitchen.

"Is everybody alri..ght...?" You asked standing in shock.

Gilbert turned to you as he tried to push Alice away from the stove. "S-sorry to wake you {y/n}. He apologized quickly before turning back to Alice, "get out of the kitchen you stupid rabbit!"

You heard a chuckle come from behind you in the door way as a hand laid on your shoulder.

"I can't believe they go through this every morning." Oz said as he continued to watch Gil and Alice fight.

"Don't you think we should help them for once?" You asked.

"No, he will finally give in and gives Alice a small taste of his cooking like always." Oz said with a smile.

"This place is always so chaotic every time of  the day." You giggled as you turned to face Oz.

"You know {y/n}, we haven't went out in a while, I thought you might like to get out and go sight seeing with me today. Would you mind accompanying me?" He asked with a cheeky grin which made you giggle and nod in excitement.

"That would be lovely, thank you Oz." You said before restoring back to your room to get changed.

In your closet you had dresses for your everyday wear, including a couple skirts with pretty lace tops to match. You pulled out a pretty {f/c} satin sundress with a matching shaw to wear over it, and flat shoes with bows at the toes.

You looked in the mirror and smiled, "this should be a good outfit for today." You said before heading out of your room to find Oz waiting for you.

"You look beautiful." Oz blushed as he looked at you.

You just smiled shyly and turned your head away to hide your face. "You lol handsome as well, Oz." You said as he turned to smile to you and bow.

"Why thank you {y/n}-chan! Shall we get going then?" He offered you his arm which you took in surprising confidence.

"I'm ready!" You said excitedly making Oz chuckle.

It was a beautiful day out as the sun was beating down with warm sunshine and the clouds came out bringing some nice cool shade as the trees blew lightly in the wind.

"Isn't it beautiful out today?" Oz said as he lead you down the dirt path to town from the Rainsworth manor.

"It's lovely out! I haven't been outside the manor forever, it feels nice out in the breeze." You admitted as you looked around admiring everything.

"Well you better get used to it {y/n}-chan, because everyday I am going to take you out on lovely strolls." He said bringing a smile to your face.

"Yes, I look forward to it." You answered back.

You both sat outside in white wire garden chairs as a waiter came and served you both some tea.
It was a beautiful small cafe that sat in the heart of the town with some pretty light pastel colors that didn't stick out to much, just enough to make the building look like a cheerful place.

"This is delicious!" You exclaimed taking your first sip of the tea. You had ordered your favorite, {f/t}.

"Isn't it? I love coming here with everyone after a long day, it's a very relaxing place." He said taking a sip of his tea.

After you both had a lovely treat, Oz took you for a walk throughout the town. You barely noticed as he slipped his hand into yours intertwining his fingers with yours.

"O-Oz?" You questioned feeling your face heat up in embarrassment. You hoped your hand wasn't going to sweat.

"I-I'm sorry {y/n}-chan, I can stop if you want." Oz said trying to take back his hand but you squeezed it tighter.

"It's okay, you just surprised me a little." You gave him a small smile which he returned forming a small blush of his own.

It was evening when Oz escorted you back to the manor. "That was lovely today Oz, I had so much fun!" You exclaimed still grasping his hand.

"I'm glad {y/n}-chan, I cant wait to do this together again soon! I enjoy spending every minute of every second of the day with you." He gave you a kiss on the cheek and a shy grin before escorting you into the manor for a nice supper with all the others.
