Halos maduling ako sa sobrang pagkasinag. Kagaya ng inaasahan, cameras were flashing everywhere. Madaming tao ang dumalo. Almost all the rich and noble people were here. I felt like I'm kind of claustrophobic for a moment.

Kahit na sabihin pang malaki ang lugar na pinagdadausan ng pagtitipon, parang hindi ako makahinga. Nakadaragdag pa sa aking pagkahilo sa lakas ng tugtog sa paligid.

Party was making noise just by now at mukhang ini-enjoy naman iyon ng mga naimbetahan. Batid kong mas magi-ingay ang tungkol sa pagdaraos sa mga pahayagan kinabukasan. It was more like a wild party for the whole country more than an advertising skit. Wala naman akong magagawa. The chairman wants headline and that's what we're giving her.

I bumped in to the Marquess of Melfast and talked to him briefly. He was also the father in-law of the Duke of Hiltonshaw, the brother of Cassidy Jane. He said that he likes the way I did to the interior setting of the place.

Hindi ko alam kung paaano niya nalaman ang tungkol sa bagay na iyon but I'm glad the he knew about it. To me, he was another potential client.

"You were a very talented young man." The Marquess commented.

"Well thank you, your grace. I wouldn't able to do it in the first place if the chairman didn't give me the chance. I owe a lot of things to her. And she was a very generous boss, too." Pagmamalaking sabi ko.

Gusto kong malaman niyang hindi nita ako kayang baratin sakali mang tangkain niyang gawin iyon. Like I've said, I have to save money as much as I could. Kung huminto ako ngayon, hindi ko alam kung kailan muli ako magkakaroon ng pagkakataong kagaya ng ganito.

The old man laugh at my remarks. He gave me his calling card and told me to give him a visit in his manor the day after tomorrow. I think we're going to talk about business there.

Most of the invited of the people here were mid-age nobles but they seem to enjoy the modern music that that was playing. From pop rock to jazz. Everybody suddenly danced and swayed slowly to one another. Nakaka-awkward lang talaga sa pakiramdam kapag wala kang kapareha.

I saw the duke of Hiltonshaw slow dancing with his wife, the duchess. Napansin kong maingat ang mga naging paggalaw ng dalawa. Inaalalayan ng duque ang bawat kilos niya marahil dahil maselan umano ang pagbubuntis ng asawa nito na ngayon ay halata na ang tiyan.

And then the time has come that the Princess Regent came to the scene with Wilson Horecois. Everyone stopped what they were doing they saw the princess and bow their heads to her. The princess apologized for the interruption and told them to proceed with what they were doing.

Wilson Horecois walks towards me and patted my shoulder. Ang akala ko ay hindi niya na ako papansinin pagkat nakalimutan na niya ang pinagsamahan namin. But I was wrong. To me, he was still the older brother I never had. A very dear friend.

"Pare, what have you done? You made this somewhat... ridiculously posh. My sister must be so pleased." Namamanghang pahayag niya habang pinagmamasdan ang paligid.

"I just did what had to be done, sir."

"Oh Gregory. Don't you ever call me 'sir' ever again. You understand? Para tayong walang pinagsamahan. Remember, ikaw ang bunso namin sa grupo ni Mr. Berns noon?" Natatawang sabi niya sa akin at pagkatapos ay inakbayan ako.

I kinda felt uneasy that moment. Hindi kasi ako sanay na ganito siya kabait sa akin na itinuturing niya akong isang kapatid. Unlike his bestfriend Mason na magpahanggang ngayon ay hindi ko alam kung bakit kulong-kulo ang dugo sa tuwing makikita ako.
