Zane X Reader Ninjago

a/n this is before Zane became a ninja.

I was reading by a lake and noticed someone in the water. They weren't moving and their eyes closed. 'Are they dead!?!' I mentally ask myself and set the book down standing up. They were still frozen and i went in and swim over to him. I was in front of him and got a better look at him. White hair pale skin and his eyes opened. I got shocked and gasped choking on the water. I saw the world go dark and felt strong but cold arms grab me and swim up to the surface.

He set me on the ground and started doing chest compressions. I opened my eyes dizzy and dazed. "H-huh?" i asked myself.

"I am terribly sorry if i frightened you i was practicing holding my breath i am truly deeply sorry." he said his voice hypnotizing. "Are you okay?" he asked.

To be honest i wasn't but i wasn't for a different reason. Currently all my family's have turned very sick and i can't see them without being sick as well but i nod. "I'm fine thank you for asking." i said politely.

Suddenly an old man with a large white beard walked up nudging the man with his staff. "You sir are who i'm looking for." i sat up confused.

"Me? Why me?" he asked puzzled.

"You have something needing to be unlocked inside you, something wonderful and it needs to be cared for." he explained. Silent we stood in unison. "Come now" he said and started walking off. We followed unsure of what else to do.

"I forgot to mention my name is Zane" the young man said looking straight ahead.

"y/n nice to meet you i guess" i replied. He smiled and i smiled back

*small timeskip*

We arrived at this large place and the old man looked at me "y/n it is so nice to see you again"

"I don't know you" i replied confused.

"No you do not remember me i am your father's friends i do hope he gets better but i will say i am truly shocked your mother got sick, i assume you follow her do you not."

"What?!?!?" i asked/yelled. What the frick does this man mean.

"She has healing and last time i checked so do you" he explained.

"I CAN HEAL THEM?!?!" i asked loudly. If i could help my parents i would do anything to do so.

"No if your mother is ill then your power is useless but you should train with us" he continued

"Train, why am i here?" zane said sensei explained everything and we agreed.

*timeskip to a month later on your birthday*

I woke up at 5:30 as always and noticed Nya was still asleep, odd she's usually up when i get up. I get up and changed. I walk out and start training, it was dark as usual and then i heard a rustle. I look around seeing nothing i assume it's a prank from Cole, he doesn't like me. I shrug it off but am still alert. I continue training and the rustling starts again, i ignore it but am curious. Suddenly the outside lights come on, i keep them off to not disturb the other. I jump and prepare to hurt to see zane, kai, nya, cole, jay and sensei.

I'm confused and open my mouth to speak but Zane explained it all.

"happy birthday y/n!" he said hugging me and kissed my cheek blushing. I heard a low growl from Cole and kissed zane on the lips, he kissed back and i was SO happy. Today is the best birthday already.
