Bill

i was humming and walking around the forest and sit next to the lake smiling brightly. it was nice and beautiful out until then it all turned black and white. a bright yellow triangle showed up laughing madly.

"what the heck!?!" i exclaim and the triangle laughs more.

"wonderful day isn't it." it says in an echoey voice. i glare unsure and reach for my bag. i always carry a pocket knife on me for protection. you never know with this town. "don't bother just was going to ask for a deal seeing as you don't know yet."

"know what?" i ask watching the thing.

"your house. parents still there along with your pets. it's going into flames now and thy won't be able to get out."

i stand up quickly. "you're lying!" i shreak and hear him laugh again. where is this noise coming from he has no mouth.

"oh no not at all but if you don't want to make the deal i understand. if you don't believe me." he continues and shrugs. i frown concerned. how could this thing know where my house is and if it's on fire. "oh i know many things y/n many things."

"you know my name! what the f*ck are you!?!" i ask in bewilderment.

"names bill cipher and i'm a dreamon or dream demon whichever you prefer to call me by is fine by me. so are we making a deal or not?" he explains waving his hands bored.

"i want proof. i don't believe they're in a fire and won't escape. give me proof." i say sternly staring at his eye. suddenly his eye changes to my house on fire. i gasp and then see a police officer come up to explain everything. everything gone and i no longer have a family. my grandparents on both sides hate me and i don't have any aunts or uncles. i move to my grandparents on my mothers side and they hate my guts trying to make me into the perfect lady.

i blink away tears i wasn't aware of holding. "what's the deal." i mumble tense and worried of leaving my favourite place. i may be wary in gravity falls but it's still my home.

"just let me follow you around and observe how humans are. i want a better understanding of them." bill states calmly watching me.

"why?" i ask before i could stop myself.

"there are some things you don't need to know yet. leave that to me y/n. i save your family and house and you let me watch your behavior. simple. now deal or no deal." he holds out his hand and it engulfs into a blue flame.

"won't it be odd if a flying yellow triangle is following me?" i ask realizing how odd it is for such a thing to happen.

"don't worry about that i have my ways. now answer." he states. i tense and see he's getting annoyed. i nod shaking his hand as a blue flame seals our hands together and then vanishes. i appear in front of my house and my mother and father run out and hug me tightly.

"oh goodness y/n we were so worried we wouldn't be able to say goodbye! the stove started a fire and it started to spread. we were so scared and tried putting it out. we heard sirens coming and then everything turned black. suddenly when it went back to normal the fire was gone but the damage is done still. the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and sadly some of your room is damaged and needs redone." my dad says barely breathing and pulls me closer.

"is everyone okay. dragon? salem and henry? what about-" i start listing off my animals most of which are in my room or the living room.

"yes they're all fine. somehow. i'm so happy. salem got slightly burned but it doesn't seem to be hurting him much. dragon and henry were safe and everyone is good." mom says petting my hair. i see the fear in her eyes.

timeskip

it's been a week and i haven't seen bill since. i'm not that upset though. i'm on my bed playing with my white ferret dragon. i giggle as he wiggles around the bed quickly. a knock is heard on the door and mom calls "y/n someone is here to see you!"

i pick up dragon and walk over. "uh hi?" i question really.

i've never seen this kid. he looks familiar, lot of yellow and he has an eyepatch covering his right eye. "hiya y/n how are you?!?" he asks in an echoey yet slightly human voice.

"good. uhm come in?" i say inviting the stranger into my home. "we can talk in my room if you want."

"okay" he has an odd smile and we walk to my room. once inside he laughs oddly.

"who are you?" i ask. the boy laughs some more before answering me.

"sorry should've shown you my human form earlier. bill cipher remember me!" he explains happy quickly scanning my room then laughs his weird as fuck laugh. "so it's all fixed up in here i see." i nod uncomfortable and holds my lovely ferret closer.

"so this is dragon. weird why are they so squirmy. they have bones right?" bill asks. i laugh at this and he looks up. "i know ferrets have bones i mean but does this one have them?" he asks again.

"yes he has bones. they're like cats a lot of little connectors in the spine to be flexible. so why did you wait so long to check on my behavior?"

"oh i've been watching you for a bit but this time i'm checking on you in a physical form and not in the mindscape. how about you show me around. i mean i know where mostly everything is since you walk around your house a lot but you show me around like you're showing a guest. so i know how you would introduce your pets." he explains in a rush.

i nod and hold the ferret up to eye level. "this is dragon my ferret." i set him in his cage and walk to the other side where i keep my hedgehog and guinea pigs. "this is henry he's a somali hedgehog and then julie is a normal american guinea pig. shadow is in the vet for a check up." i say and look into his eye.

"wonderful. thank you." i nod in response and he kisses my cheek before disappearing into thin air. i lightly touch my cheek shocked.
