Mori x Shy! Hittachins' cousin!

a/n so sorry for the late upload Iowa Assessments are this week and i believe it's either next week or the week after is map testing so i'm a little anxious about my grade.

I was hanging out at my cousins house when there was a knock on the door to their room. we were talking about random stuff, anything and everything. hikaru walked to the door and opened it to reveal a short blonde with a stuffed pink bunny, two tall black haired boys one with glasses one without, a tall blonde boy with purple eyes, and finally a brunette girl. her hair was very short like a boys but i could tell she was female. i watch the group and begin to feel nervous.

"oh hey guys" hikaru says calmly and motions for them to come in. the enter the room and the tall blonde notices me.

"who is this?" he questions the twins.

"oh this is our cousin.  y/n meet tamaki," he gestures to the blonde, "kyoya," the black haired male with glasses, "mori" the black haired male without glasses, "honey," the small blonde, "and haruhi" the only female and brunette.

i wave silently and try to hide behind kaoru. "it's okay y/n they're our friends." he says to me and then looks to the group "she's a little shy" he explains and i had my oversized f/c sweatshirt hiding my face. it smelled of f/s from yesterday.

the tallest one, mori, walks over to me and makes it so i do not cover my face. a blush slightly hints at my face and i look away. "y/n~chan is everything okay? we won't hurt you we just want to be friends" honey said. i stay silent.

"don't be scared or mori, he may be intimidating but he's really sweet" haruhi says trying to comfort me. i nod.

timeskip two days later

i'm in my sweatshirt walking around the pond at a public park. i see mori, i'm pretty sure that was his name walk up with honey.

"y/n~chan! hi there how's your day been?!?!" honey asks cheerful.

i try smiling and mumble "g-good, you?"

"i'm wonderful! how about you takashi?" he replies then looks at his tall friend.

"good" he says quietly. his voice is very deep and calming and i smile hearing it. we talk a little, mostly honey, i respond sometimes but usually i stay silent. 

honey got up and said "y/n~chan i got to go but takashi can stay and talk" he says cheerfully. i nod and so does mori. honey runs off and i'm left in an awkward silence with mori. i start humming and close my eyes to help calm my body. i hear a lower hum and look to see mori  humming with me. i continue my humming session with me and begin to sing an original song.

by the end of the song i didn't even notice mori had stopped humming to watch me or that my eyes were welling up with tears he hugged me and held me on his lap. "i'm sorry y/n~chan" he said calmly. my heart flutters and i relax drifting to sleep as he holds me closer.
