Gene X R X Zane (PDH)

i was sitting on the steps when the ro'meave brothers walked up, the little emo nugget zane glances at me and i smile before hopping over there to talk. "hey hey zane." i say smiling brightly.

"hey y/n" he replies quietly before we head to the bleachers behind the school. as always gene is back there with his dumb shadow knight gang. "i wish they would let me join them." zane says glumly.

"i know but look on the bright side at least you won't get in trouble. that's good! if you have a bad record you might not get a scholarship. we're in highschool now we need to think about this stuff." i say. ever since middle school i though about college, it's just how i am. he nods smiling 

i feel something hit the back of my head and i wince looking over to see a spray can rolling. i growl annoyed and zane looks down to see gene smirking. "yes i hit her!" he says as though it was a victory. we headed down, well zane walked down and i followed. "yes" gene asked harshly.

"why'd you throw that?" he asked angrily.

"because i can what are you gonna do you dork!" he replies raising his voice. zane stayed silent.

"we should get to class zane he's not worth the time of day." i say budding in to earn a glar from gene.

"i'm not? well then you must be as important as dirt" he responds thinking he made a good comeback.

"to whom are you talking about. i might be but i don't see how i'm that valuable as dirt does give us the resources to grow food and survive." i say smirking and turn to leave. zane mumbles something i can't quite hear and then he falls and i look down shocked to see his jaw bruised slightly.

"ass" gene mutters and i glare at him.

"what's wrong with you?" i ask and help zane back to his feet. gene pushes us both down then crouches to eye level.

"it'll treat you good to remember this, don't talk back to me. it won't do you good and just so you know you both deserve it you weaklings." he says then straightens back up. i glare growling my anger overcoming me. i stand up quickly and zane hesitates before doing the same. "what cha gonna do? lecture me?" he says and then scoffs.

before i an react calmly my fist turns into a ball and i raise it punching gene square in the face. he seems shocked then again i'm shocked and so is zane. he growls and punches me but i dodge quickly. gene quickly trips me and pins me down. "you better stop being so stubborn and know who's in charge. i'm older and stronger. i will always win!" he says darkly and i struggle to get up. zane helps me and we head to class.

 before walking in he stops "y/n" he says softly. i look over and he lowers his mask and kisses me gently. i blush kissing back.

after school at the park

i walk to the park with zane giggling as we sing and listen to some melanie martinez. he may not sing all the time but he has an amazing voice and it's so hypnotizing to listen to. we walk to the bridge to watch the water and the fish. we hear a low growl but try to ignore it as someone walks up and grabs me rather forcefuly.

"hey-" before i could continue i notice that gene was the one to grab me.

"fucking god sasha." he mumbles before kissing me roughly.

"what the f*ck!" zane yells obviously annoyed and jealous. that cute little nugget.

gene glares at me as he backs up. i feel my anger boiling up. "we're leaving now." i say annoyed grabbing zane's hand and running away.  i then sit down once we're in front of the ro'meaves home on the front steps and lay my head on zane's lap. we sit in silence until garroth opens the door ruining it
