X Reader Oneshots

Subaru

*age 5*i was running and giggling. subaru was really mad at me for playing with his hair and making a braid into it. he looked so cute with his white hair in a small braid.

"Y/N COME BACK HERE!" he yells upset. i smile and temporarily stop. suddenly as he gets to m he jumps slightly and tears up. i look behind me to see a butterfly.

"what's wrong subue?" /soo boo/

a/n thats his nickname from you.

"b-b-butterfly!" he screams crying more. i hold  back a laugh and hug him.
a/n i feel like he has to have an adorable fear for him to be okay
i hum slightly and shoo the butterfly away. once it leaves subaru calms down and i unbraid is beautiful hair. "thank you n/n"

"of course subue."  i tell him and he heads to the garden as i follow behind him.

"the roses are pretty." he remarks and i giggle.

"of course, flowers are pretty." i respond. he smiles and picks a white rose.

"n/n?" he asks serious. i get worried as he looks at me.

"we'll be friends forever, right? even though you're human we'll stay friends as long as i never drink your blood and you make sure i stay happy, right?" he asks.

i calm down and hug him tightly. "of course subaru. i would never stop being friends with you!" i tell him as he hugs back and puts the rose behind my ear in my hair. i smile blushing ever so slightly.

timeskip 10 years later

i'm being lectured by subaru because  hurt myself on accident. i try telling him okay but he ignores me and continues.

"y/n i'm serious you could have broken a bone and bleed. you know that if i smell your blood i won't be able to control myself." he says. he always worries to much about hurting me.

"subue your to worried. we're 15 i think we'll be able to do normal stuff, plus you seem to be good at controlling yourself when i get a papercut." i tell him.

"y/n i'm not kidding!" he shouts tearing up, "if i hurt you i don't know what i would do with myself." he continues. i stop being my cheery self and hugs him.

"subue calm down. i'm okay and i know you would never hurt me. i made a promise to you. we will always be friends subue okay?" i ask he nods and hugs back. he tenses as he looks up slightly and i look behind me. a butterfly has landed on the branch  besides us.

"butterfly." he whispers scared.

"it's okay subue it won't hurt us." i tell him and try shooing it away. instead of leaving the butterfly lands on subarus hair an he freaks the f*ck out.

"GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" he shouts at me. i flick the butterfly away and hold subaru.

"shhh" i say and begin to hum.

two days later

i was on the ground holding my knee. i was playing hide and seek with subaru and fell. my knee got skinned and was bleeding slightly. he finds me and shocked he hugs me.

"n/n! are you okay!?!" he asks worried.

"i'm fine subue." i say smiling, the pain was minimum and i could easily ignore it until i get up and walk. i can tell by the look on subarus face that he wants to taste my blood but resisting. i sigh. "subaru you can have a taste." i tell him. he looks at me confused.

"huh?"

"have a taste of my blood subue." i tell him. he hesitantly leans into my neck and sinks his fangs in. i wince ever so slightly as he starts to drink. after 1/2 a minute he stops and helps me. "better?" i ask him. he nods and we hug continuing the game.
