Laurence X Soccer!

it was summer and i was dribbling the soccer ball to the goal on the other side. i was playing against my older brother jeffory, his girlfriend katelyn, and her little brother kasey. i was put on kasey's team but he's not the best at sports sadly. katelyn and jeffory were winning by 5 points.

"THIS IS BOGUS!" i yell "WHY AM I STUCK WITH KASEY! HE'S TERRIBLE!" i then turn to kasey "no offense" i say gently.

"none taken?" he responds questioningly.

"because jeffory and i are dating so were on a team together." katelyn says. i glare annoyed at her faulty excuse.

"mind if i join." someone asks, i look up to see a brunette who if i remember correctly is laurence.

"you can be on my team." i say and kasey goes to sit in the sidelines.

"laurence, you're y/n right?" he questions and i nod.

"let's play!" i say and we begin the game once more.

we won and i high five laurence. "you're pretty good." he remarks.

"not to bad yourself" i reply and we start talking. i gt glances from jeffory every now and then and i notice katelyn smirking at us a couple times.

"so what year you gonna be in next year?" i ask getting bored as i lay upside dwn on the bench.

"junior, you?"

"some"

"why haven't i seen you around." he questions. i sigh annoyed at the dumb question but shrug deciding to answer anyway.

" don't like people so i stay away from them, sit in the back of the class, don't talk often, eat outside. it's what i do to not be annoyed by others stupidity." i say bluntly.

"oh how very sweet of you to say. how many idiots have come across?"

"too many to count. now i best get going so i don't get yelled at for not eating dinner" i say. before i leave laurence turns my head to face him and places a gentle kiss upon my lips. i kiss back for some idiotic reason but i don't care. i feel fuzzy kinda and like the feeling. laurence hugs me smiling.

"later beautiful." he says and with that jeffory and i leave, me with a light blush.
